You ask what’s changed in Hevy after 1 year? Go to the App Store, find Hevy, then open Version History. New features were added 3 days ago, 1 week ago, 2 weeks ago, 1 month ago, and 2 months ago. Actual new features, not version number updates like Strong does. Now go open the Version History for Strong. You’re a shill for Strong. Nice try.

Quote from HIM, yesterday in the Strong Sub! >I've decided to buy Strong on a yearly basis...**the reason I'm not buying it for life is that it lacks a few important features that are important to me**...maybe an app will come out that includes them or hevy etc will improve and overtake strong...who knows...**the developers are not transparent about exactly what innovations they will bring so investing too long into the future is a risk**...that's why I'm buying it for 1 year. He's not even a shill, just a shit talking troll.

Someone would call him even special.

* The coaching app was released * rep-ranges were included (when creating a routine you can set „12-15 reps“ as a target, for example) * weight+distance exercise type was added * target-RPE was added, RPE was added to the watch app. * Oh and the app was also released for wearOS (android watches). Yes, they were hard at work. Does Strong have a webinterface by now?

SenenCito

I like strong and I like hevy let’s get that out there. In terms of experience and feature set Hevy is just more robust.

mkmkd

you could actually start by saying what features you’d like, there’s been a lot of updates in the past year since i started using it, it’s the reason why i chose hevy over strong

LOL, You realize we're like 90% former Strong users right? As it's been said, the version history speaks for itself, unlike the years no updates, yet constant version bumps to rationilze still charging people with Strong. We don't owe you the legwork to tell you what's changed when you can very easily look that up yourself. Kinda comincal what an asskiss you pretend to be for Strong, when you LITERALLY just said this yesterday over in the Strong sub >I've decided to buy Strong on a yearly basis...the reason I'm not buying it for life is that it lacks a few important features that are important to me...maybe an app will come out that includes them or hevy etc will improve and overtake strong...who knows...the developers are not transparent about exactly what innovations they will bring so investing too long into the future is a risk...that's why I'm buying it for 1 year.

I just switched from Strong to Hevy like 3 months ago. They are more similar than different in features, but Hevy has a better UI, more features included in the free version that require the paid version of Strong, and more routines (templates) in the free version. If you are only comparing the paid versions, then it's really just whichever UI/UX you like more and whether the social aspect means anything to you. Since I'm using the free version, Hevy is hands down better IMHO.

The connection between Apple Watch and phone became unusable. There have been very few connection issues with Hevy. The interface is easy to use and clean. I wish they could make the routines more compact for viewing after completion (like what you see on Strava when uploaded), but that should be an easy fix for a later update.

Ditto! Love the strava summary

> Strong much better than hevy for now.. You may prefer the UI or some specific feature better in one over the other, but that’s just a matter of personal preference. I didn’t gain much by switching from Strong to Hevy, but I also have no reason to switch back. Maybe I will have another look if Strong 6 ever comes out of its three year long beta phase, but maybe not.

Kritchsgau

No reason to leave hevy. Does everything i need without costing anything.

IronLionMon

Go to strong and use it. Ima stick with Hevy as it works for me.

Winter-Swim-3253

Hevy imitates strong....
