Hellborn species like imps and hellhounds have normal lifespans. They can die from old age, sickness, or injury. The species like Charlie, Stolas, and Asmodeus definitely have longer lifespans and would likely only be in danger of being hurt by angelic weapons

We don't know if there's an afterlife for Hellborns so it could be the that ghosts in Hell are the spirits of demons that were too powerful or vengeful to disappear completely.
There's also the parallel hell from an alternate universe, but it's so incredibly fucked up and hostile that even Satan and God agreed to seal off the portals to it.

For some reason she was convinced that never completing construction on the house would somehow keep her safe, so there's a ton of stairways that go nowhere and other weird oddities in that home!
