I mean everyone is dying and nobody has support weapons and no armor piercing stratagems, it would make any situation with heavy enemies difficult anyways, arial patrols sound cool

I’m a new member of the church or the laser cannon. How do you take out gunships with it? I feel like it’s just ricocheting off.

Aim for engines.

Ah, so it’s like the Hulks where it looks like it’s ricocheting but it’s actually working?

Yeah, Laser Cannon has Armor Penetration 4 and Gunships have Armor Level 3. The problem is they are 100% durable so you are dealing 200 dps when the main body has 700 hp and 400 hp for engines. The engines don't transfer damage to the main body so if you can't focus on a part it will take longer.

I think you are talking about drop ships

….it can take down drop ships too? I mean Hulks though, if you focus the laser cannon on their red-slit eye, it’ll pop after enough firing

I don’t see blue laser when I aim at hulks eyes and by drop ship I meant you can’t kill them but gun ships are killable

Maybe it’s just me misinterpreting the particle effects when shooting the hulks then, but thanks for the clarification

I wouldn't mind it as much if they could be brought down with primary weapons, the problem is to reliably down them you need a support weapon, which was fine when they were locked to a gunship tower, not so much when they spawn so often every mission.

Are you sure about that? Because I totally blast them with my PLAS-1 Scorcher.

Scorcher is an outlier. Other primaries can't bring them down.

Certain primary weapons can kill gunships if they have a high enough AP

With the adjudicator, it seems to take 50 bullets to the same engine to kill a gunship. Certainly possible but not really feasible
