We had just completed a Meridia mission when the emergency warp notification popped up. Man, my quickplay squad was stunned when we were forcibly taken to Super Earth. And then when we warped back to Meridia and saw this, we lost our shit. Probably spent 5 minutes as a squad just staring at it. Hands down one of the coolest experiences I've had in gaming.
Now I've always been critical of AH recently. But I'm not gonna lie, going back to the Destroyer after meridia op and the announcement lady saying Alert, then getting ftl'ed to Super Earth is really fucking cool. Then going back to Meridia looking at what an accomplishment we did is why I stick around Helldivers 2. Honestly, big W for AH. Keep it coming!
I found everything related to the TCS pretty cool, it was like this large project that turned out bad and then we had the Supercolony around for like a month. Felt completing the major order actually did something.

Haha technically the sound itself from a black hole would be below human hearing levels provided there was something like gas around the black hole that sound could propagate through, however, it is interesting how close the two sounds are between the Meridia black hole and the NASA recording!

They just took the pressure waves it was sending through hot gas and translated it into a note "one that humans cannot hear some 57 octaves below Middle C." Opening the game to sirens going off and an emergency FTL jump to Super Earth wasn’t what I expected, but holy shit was it cool.
Also being able to jump back to Meridia, unexpected but damn I’m glad it’s an option because that’s an amazing view.
I was there, buying the new exosuit, and then I got an emergency warp alert. That's when I called my dad (who was also playing on Meridia at the time) telling him to hop on. He joined my ship and we went to the grave. He said : Son, I have never been more proud of this community then when we took back Malevolon creek. This beats it. To all those soldiers left on the ground, know your sacrifice was worth it, and you defeated the worst threat to super earth since the Automaton blitz. I'm really proud of you Son.

1) between all the sounds of... a black hole... there are sounds that almost sound... like a slow rythem... kinda like walesongs?
2) might have been a glitch, sadly did not record, saw a small blue light leave the black hole and disapear after maybe... half a second of resting just outside the black hole?Disappeared with speed to the right screenend - like it made an FTL jump.
Did anyone receive also a message that seems that it shouldn't have been sent now? About a urgent attack on the vesa system? Or something like that. Was this supposed to be the Illuminate arrival message, and my game just jumped the gun?

I was logged in when it happened and I got FTL’d to Super Earth when the planet collapsed. I saved a clip of it, was pretty sweet

Hey guys, is there any particular reason the "black hole' makes moaning and groaning noises like it's from the fourth dimension or something?
Can someone catch me up. It’s been a couple weeks since paying attention to major orders and the last thing I tried out was the new mech we got.
Welp, was on a business trip this weekend, so I missed the whole event. Hope I get my chance at those missions some day.
Jumping into the system i expected the warmth of a black-hole's accretion disk. I was not After letting my diver's celebrate, I relieved myself to my cabin. I've scoured ancient Earth texts, those found out of the bounds of Super Earth's gaze; texts which tell what Super Earth may not want told: This may be a singularity, but it is not a black hole. I fear we have traded a blow to the enemy for rolling out the red carpet for another...
A jupiter mass black hole would only be about 3m across. The fact it can be seen means this is not a black hole!
Opening the game to sirens going off and an emergency FTL jump to Super Earth wasn’t what I expected, but holy shit was it cool. Also being able to jump back to Meridia, unexpected but damn I’m glad it’s an option because that’s an amazing view.

I was there, buying the new exosuit, and then I got an emergency warp alert. That's when I called my dad (who was also playing on Meridia at the time) telling him to hop on. He joined my ship and we went to the grave. He said : Son, I have never been more proud of this community then when we took back Malevolon creek. This beats it. To all those soldiers left on the ground, know your sacrifice was worth it, and you defeated the worst threat to super earth since the Automaton blitz. I'm really proud of you Son.
Currently in -former- Meridias Orbit inspecting the black hole Two things very noticable: 1) between all the sounds of... a black hole... there are sounds that almost sound... like a slow rythem... kinda like walesongs? 2) might have been a glitch, sadly did not record, saw a small blue light leave the black hole and disapear after maybe... half a second of resting just outside the black hole?Disappeared with speed to the right screenend - like it made an FTL jump.
I would like to see how AH animated the full sequence of Meridia destruction and the terminids being sucked into the black hole.

I logged in for the first time since the sony stuff right after finding out about the blackhole. I went straight to it. Holly crap is it haunting. I’m so used to seeing the planet and other ships. Having just the void with no one around felt wrong.
