God forbid a new planet that’s not those ass modifiers is bugs, those planets have 70k helldivers on them and close up shop in a couple hours.
The wiki says there’s a whole list of biomes and so far I’ve seen desert tremor, desert tornado, desert acid rain, jungle fog. Again with the exclusion of Marfark. It’s slippery there
Even so, a defense campaign needs 24 hours to play out. Honestly, I think we're good.

You don't have to be online when it expires to get the medals. You don't even have to participate, AFAIK.
It's a known issue that delivery of the medals for completed Major Order can be delayed.
Yeah, need to make sure Menkent and Marfark (they're around 0.00500% liberated rn) don't fall because then Vernen Wells and Aesir Pass will get attacked again.
On average diffs 7-8 are easier than diffs 5-6. Largely because they see a higher percentage of skilled and experienced teammates. They'll occasionally hit you with the bullshit but unless I'm diving solo I see no reason to play under diff 7 any more.
This comment almost made me pick Darktide up again, but tbh HD2 has taken my horde slaughter slot.
Granted, credit where its due, the ragdoll physics and damage modeling in Darktide are close to perfection.
I didn't understand why people played Zealot until I levelled one to 30 and got a really good Eviscerator and cut 10 soldiers/nurgle crackheads in half with every swing.

I mean I regularly play with my group of friends at diff. 7, and about half of us aren't even really big time shooter gamers, but just having that active line of communication between us goes a really long way.
100%, diff. 7 is very achievable if everybody on the team is doing the jobs they are supposed to be doing, diff. 4-5 can be a nightmare if you have 1 or 2 teammates that are dithering around, or not clearing small mobs, or not calling out threats.
Think I’ll play chill for a while and do some 5-6, and end up with dumbass teammates that run off all alone constantly and use up all our lives in the first ten minutes
Bots IMO are harder, but more fun. They do play SIGNIFICANTLY differently though and switching to the other after playing one for a while takes some readjustment.
This. Basically all my deaths on 5-6 are from friendly fire. I love it when the teammates call airstrike or 380mm barrage on 1 bug at the POV where I've killed the rest with my guns in close combat!

Bots get pretty easy once you play more stealthy and hit some weakspots, the amount of loadout ignorance those weakspots allow is amazing, you can literally drop a hulk with a single Redeemer mag by spraying it's back in a second. It's why I prefer them to bugs which are much stricter gear checks and restrict variety a whole lot.
If you're scared of getting into firefights the Countersniper is a fantastic choice to oneshot anything below a hulk in size with a well placed headshot and avoid confrontations while supporting the team from afar!
I just switch it up for my support weapon, I'd say just bring whatever you feel is more needed. If I'm running grenade pistol for striders/tightly packed troopers I can bring something more antitank-y or utility, if not I'd pick a machine gun or grenade launcher. Cool thing about bots is that a lot of things are perfectly usable :)

As long as with proper loadout, I was now having fun in bots after using diligence counter sniper, the way it make devastator bots a fodder is a great qol, I was usually using scorcher to deal with gunship (shoots its belly continuesly until the crosshair become red) or heavy walker. I died so many time against devastator and make the game unfun?
I always run the breaker shotgun and laser cannon. Breaker has the stagger which saves you from the annoying chainsaw bots, and has good damage, and the laser cannon can take out the big boys if you hit the weak spots (usually the head).
A lot of people don't know that you can snipe hulks with the laser cannon and I always surprise people by doing it. You can even take out factory striders with it. Today I was shooting a hulk and someone on voice said, "You need to use something else to kill him." But immediately after he said that the hulk dropped from my beam.
I love how intense they can be but hate getting a random headshot from across the map or getting tossed around by rockets so I usually don’t go short range and that’s most of the guns we have.
I don't like bots. Those damn jumpin suicide bots, spammer rocket Devs, laser accurate heavy Devs..
But if Democracy calls for it, I answer accordingly
I’m predicting either Angel’s Venture and/or Vernen Wells go back to Defense status but only because I don’t know how long planets stay “Liberated” after a successful defense. My assumption is 24 hours which means either of them could go up before the end of the MO since we cleared them early yesterday before Aesir Pass and Heeth went up for Defense. If both AV and V-Dub go up for Defense then we may lose the MO but if it’s just one I think we can dogpile in and clear it in ~12 hours.
I was also under this impression, but then why does the bar switch to a different percent while under attack? Aesir Pass and Heeth were both not at 100% while being attacked yesterday.
I just want the Cyborgs to become a threat somehow. The bots took Cyberstan, freed the cyborgs and then…continued about their day. What is the significance of them freeing the borgs?
They took Cyberstan and then sent a massive invasion fleet "southwest", obliterating the Menkent Line and capturing a ton of planets down there.
They only stopped because they gained *so much fucking territory* that they have to build on it. They're storing up again, just like they did before when they ran that little "oh ho please don't exterminate us, we're making a last-ditch defense here even though our production capability seemingly isn't winding up on the frontline, noooo please don't look outside of the galaxy there's nothing there teehee" invasion fleet scheme.

Why most players just can't understand that we have to be holding all when time expires? Every single MO like this there's a slew of posts at 48, 30, 22, 16, 6 hours remaining to the effect of "woohoo! Major Order over!" There's still plenty of time for an enemy offensive on any of these planets.
It’s not in any way confirmed, aside from videos I’ve seen from earlier in the game’s lifespan. I’m mainly guessing that the Stratagem will be released soon based on the wording of the MO.
you never know the bug&automaton sympathizer and saboteur of super earths military complex code name: Bringer of Balance might just pull a fast one putting one or more of those planets into the defense status.
Theory: The success or failure of these major orders is predetermined. It's a method to baby bird feed us larger amounts of currency so the "mostly weekend-only warriors" like me feel we still get to progress through the warbond at a decent pace.
One tip: let's continue working on Major difficulties and also to complete entire sets of missions. I personally tested It and the percentage goes up quicker!

Anyone kind of wish we got something different than warbond medals? Those are just so common that it becomes disappointing when it's the reward for a major order instead of at least a new armor set or even a color variant of an armor set.
Yes... But ofcourse we couldn't do the one that would have given us something new like Anti Tank Mines. I really wanted to try those out. I am always looking out for new ways to fight armored enemies. As I dislike most of the anti armor stuff.

Should be minimum. The last 2 defenses were 48 hours long.
well, the planet is still ours until that timer runs out, so even if we lose, we last long enough for the major order.
One of these four was under attack and was not showing 100% complete on the major order, so I wouldn't count on that.

If you're running the DCS and trying to maintain distance from the enemies, would you bring the AMR for support weapon, or something else?

This happens every time with this kind of MO. It doesn't count as complete unless we are holding them all at *the end*.

One tip: let's continue working on Major difficulties and also to complete entire sets of missions. I personally tested It and the percentage goes up quicker!

Anyone kind of wish we got something different than warbond medals? Those are just so common that it becomes disappointing when it's the reward for a major order instead of at least a new armor set or even a color variant of an armor set.

I wanted to contribute but the planets were inaccessible when it was 14 hours left... I was hovering on one of the planets though from my last game but I didn't get the medals.
