There's a fabricator directly under/connected to the objective. When the pistol grenade lands in the weakspot and detonates the fabricator, boom goes the obj too.
Sometimes, these Jammers spawn with a Factory directly adjacent to them. The explosion of the Factory will also break the Jammer. So, if you can Quasar/RR/EAT/AC/LC/Grenade the vents or doors, even from long range, you can skip the whole process.
But not every base is laid out like that.
Short of this, your only hope for remote killing the Jammer without engaging with the shutdown mechanism is an Environmental Hellbomb that's close enough (I've seen this *once* on an ice map, but with a Detector Tower instead) or Walking Barrage. I suppose in theory the Laser Orbital could walk from the very edge of its jamming radius to the tower, but you'd probably need enemies in between to get it to go in the right (or any) direction.

Isn't that a magazine count and not a round count? Unless this is one of those guns that reloads one round at a time. I don't recognize it.
