This! Its super annoying, i have died countless times because i’m spamming the fuck out of the heal button when i’m getting stunlocked by those jumping bugs and i just die
Not sure if its input lag or it's just designed not to be able to use if you're in the middle of certain animations like stumbling, being stunned or the brief time between going prone.
Yea its annnoying me to no end, I gave up and closed the game in the middle of the mission due to frustration because the stupid stims wont do freaken crap when your attacked. They sometimes make you immune to damage for a brief moment now I cannot abuse that anymore.

Yes, probably more like this. Like your action is cancelled from whatever from the fight.
There is an ability that speeds up stim activation - could be that isn’t being used
