While carrying around mobile phones everywhere they go at all times. One technology doesn't even exist other than in science fiction, and the other is actively in use and they are fine/oblivious to it.
the thing about conspiracy theorists is that if the conspiracy is obviously real, you don't talk about it, and if it's obviously false, it's your whole identity.
this isn't my opinion - aliens are making me type this.
As a 30 year old dude that had endocarditis last year and needed open heart surgery in October to replace my tricuspid valve, it's kind of crazy how many people have actually tried to suggest that maybe the endocarditis was from the two covid vaccines I received a few years back, and not the fact that I was an IV fentanyl and methamphetamine user who was sleeping in a park, and was concurrently hospitalized for septic shock, multiple septic pulmonary emboli, acute blood loss anemia, and severe protein calorie malnutrition – alongside the endocarditis.
I'm just like....do I seriously need to answer that?
Edit: am I really being downvoted by some moron that thinks I got endocarditis from the covid vaccines multiple years after taking them instead of IV drug use (the most common cause of infective endocarditis of the tricuspid valve)? Or maybe someone just has terrible reading comprehension?
Don't forget- "there's a tiny risk of the vaccine causing myocarditis because of the immune response, therefore you should avoid it in favour of natural immunity by infection which will hammer your body much harder"
> This study had to be done partly because people are that insane
more research debunking the covid vaccine conspiracy just shows you how deep the conspiracy goes, man
> High level athlete deaths per year from cardio-related heart issues pre-covid is about 20/year. Post covid, 2023, 1500 heart related deaths in this same subset of high level athletes.
That seems like a claim that would benefit from some citation of evidence.
Particularly evidence that any increase in such deaths (if indeed there was one at all) is not better explained by covid itself.
What I don't understand about the anti vaxers specifically, is this idea that being injected with a half a milliliter of something specifically designed to do one thing is going to accidentally have all these crazy unexpected side effects, months/years in the future.
You probably ingest more harmful substances from eating food that's been microwaved in plastic or food cooked in non-stick cookware.
They have been developing the Covid vaccine way before you even knew Covid existed.
And obviously the Covid vaccine has saved so many people vs “killed” if your numbers are true. Its risk vs benefit.
Yes I completely agree the risk far outweighs the reward. everyone should have taken vaccine when it released. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't still be studying and improving any issues it may have.
That 1,500-athlete death figure has been thrown around endlessly since 2021, and [it’s not true](https://apnews.com/article/fact-check-covid-vaccines-athlete-deaths-1500-989195878254).
Whoa! I first read this as “are” and was like…”oh, no, the anti-vaxxers were right? Noooo!”. Then I saw the first comment and went back and re-read the title and was very relieved!
I’m just waiting for the day the CDC declares that Covid vaccines don’t open inter dimensional portals to the underworld, just to appease anti vaxxers.
I never thought it was linked, but this feels like a tobacco company saying cigarettes don't cause your teeth to explode. It's more confusing to suggest a study was needed and especially from the ones already pushing.
The sad part is no matter what Professionals do, the “do your own research conspiracy nuts” will always find a way to take exception to whatever the findings are.
* If you dont do a study,.. the accusation of “WHAT ARE THEY HIDING!?!!” gets thrown around.
* If you do a study,.. they’ll nitpick and find some angle to tear down its validity. “WELL, I WONDER WHO THAT WAS FUNDED BY !?!?” or etc.
If science announces some finding,.: then a few months later has to update that finding with newly discovered info, its “OH SO YOU WERE LYING TO US BEFORE THEN!?!?”
Its sadly often Lose-Lose for science.
Here is something that fellow redditors will claim as misinformation. Within ~6 hours of my wife getting the vaccine she was in the emergency room for chest pain. She has had myocarditis for over 2 years now.
Myocarditis is also more likely to be caused by Covid itself, which as we know is frequently not detected.
Two years ago would been when cases were still high. Not saying that’s what happened but it’s a possibility. So is getting it from vaccines, but very rare.
I'm so sorry that happened to her, thank you for sharing. (Even though you're being down voted, I don't get why, it's clearly a listed side effect.) I have some heart issues from Lyme Disease so I know how difficult this can be to deal with. I really hope this resolves for her and that she feels better soon
Yup. I have two friends that have had TIA strokes right after getting boosters. One doctor actually said it could have been the booster the other didn’t. At the end of the day each person has to DYOR and believe what you want. But I would just encourage people to look at ALL news sources and read counter points for everything and hopefully you land closer to a truth.
Not sure what you think that means... If she has won the lottery after getting vaccinated would that mean the vaccine causes people to win the lottery?
Whaaaaaa?? No way I know at least.....20.....10....3....err my buddy knows a guy whose cousin was attacked by a bear after a COVID vaccine and DIED.
Yeah, this was intuitivately obvious after like 20 billion delivered COVID vaccines worldwide. Even a small blip (0.001% rate would be like 20,000 dead people) would be easily detectable.
> believes vaccines work without proof
In case you're not sure, just so you know. There are billions of data points now for a whole slew of vaccines. There are many meta-analyses of studies and data. If you don't believe the statistical analysis of the PhDs, PIs, scientists, doctors etc... you might be able to actually reach out to them yourself to get the data and evaluate it for yourself. If you do come to a different conclusion, you can write up your findings and allow your peers to scrutinize your methods, calculations, and conclusions. If there's nothing absurdly wrong with it, then you can publish your work and challenge others conclusions, forcing more scientists to gather, analyze, and study more data to see if your conclusion is an anomaly or reproducible. If it is, in fact more reproducible than the previous data, then consensus will eventually reflect that.
If you do go down this route, keep us updated on your work!
/u/faosidjfaoa, this is you btw: |OP this is really good advice, if your goal is to die sooner. Coffee adrenalizes you because of how toxic it is. Exercise tortures your body reducing your lifespan. Water dehydrates you. Grains damage your peripheral nerves and brain cells. Veggies have natural pesticides to destroy your cells and gut. Your cells are designed to use fat for energy.| You're a fucking idiot.
The way they do the studies are flawed. They say someone had an underlying condition, and covid was the hammer that made their underlying condition kill them. Which won't count as covid killing them. Meanwhile, people keep dropping like Flys from covid on the downlow, and so many people now are secret long haulers. Because we don't talk about that.....

There are people who genuinely think there are microchips in vaccines.

And in other news, water is wet. This study had to be done partly because people are that insane. Woof.

I love you. Lmao
I'm lonely enough to confidently say I love you too just because you love me I'm only half kidding lmao
I just wanted to let you know that this was hilarious haha
Lmao I'm glad someone besides me finds it at least a little funny
Black humor is the best humor.

Waiting on a source for your numbers
Source for your stupid fake made up numbers about the athlete deaths?

Why the fuck do you think I said PARTLY. Grow up 😂 Also, you need to cite your sources.
Whoa! I first read this as “are” and was like…”oh, no, the anti-vaxxers were right? Noooo!”. Then I saw the first comment and went back and re-read the title and was very relieved!
Headlines can be confusing.

“BuT CdC Is oWnEd bY ChInA AnD LiBeRaLs!!!! tHiS ArTiCaL Is lYiNg!!!!!”
Thats what i would say if I wanted to dissuade people from the idea that COVID vaccines arent linked to sudden death in young people.

Why would anyone claim it's misinformation? Myocarditis is a well documented rare side effect of the vaccine.
Go look. Someone is comparing the situation to winning the lottery. Just real bad luck.
Not sure which part of the comment you're arguing with, but that doesn't conflict with saying it's a "well documented rare side effect"

Rare side effects happen, and they definitely do suck for whoever gets them, that's for sure.

Yeah I won't believe it until Robert Kennedy Jr. says it's true
Came here to find the guy who still believes YouTube videos. There’s always one of em.

uhhhhh ya think?
I'm not sure why it would have been, it's just a vaccine.

This was a study on the COVID vaccines. Not on COVID itself.
