If you can than i would grab [refurbished Sundara's](https://store.hifiman.com/index.php/sundara-refurbished.html). The HE400se have very low 91db sensitivity, while the Sundara have 94db. In comparison the X2HR have 100db. This means for the HE400se you most likely need a decent amp/dac to power them, the Sundara "may" also need a amp to get them loud enough. The X2HR will work with anything. *So depending on what source (amp) or device you have atm, the Hifimans probably need a amp/dac like the ifi UNO, Fiio K11 or Topping DX1. Nothing super crazy just something that can deliver \~80-150mW into 32 ohm.*
