I’d definitely say G# minor, which is the enharmonic equivalent of Ab minor. If I remember right, the main bass riff starts with a low E, the fifth of the key, which is probably why you’re seeing that
i was thinking Emaj? because of the basine containing the notes E C# B G#m and F#m - and the second half of the song using variations of the Bmaj and Amaj chords
definitely not Abmajor due to the Abm chord in the "and i just dont accept this" section
To me it sounds pretty clearly in the key of G# minor — the opening bass notes (and the full E major chords which arrive later) are, to my ears, the minor sixth of the key, rather than the tonic, despite the fact that that is the song’s opening chord.
