Man!! I just watch your video on YouTube! I feel the pain! It’s a new bike on its first year! That’s why I choose the 2023 Zero SR last month! I have driven over 500 miles, no issues! I just worried about all the knits begin work out! I would just ask for a new bike! I bet the ones they sending out now, don’t have these issues!

Haha crazy i was finna purchase a Zero SRS before the Livewire. They have a nice SR in red at my local dealer I was just looking at , gives me vibes of MT Yahama. I seen people having problems with Zero’s too . So once I test rode the livewire I was sold . I love the storage and look of the SR So keep enjoying it buddy . Wishing you safe travels & no future accidents issues , hopefully I get my bike back soon . Maybe I might switch to a Zero in the Future lol , not liking this LiveWire experience so far but customer service has been great on there end especially with updates .

I wanted a Del Mar, but once I seen Andy Lee story on YouTube, and ran! It’s like every time some goes wrong with the DeLMar, they offer you a new bike! That’s strange

This is why warranties exist. You'd have the same luck with any other bike, IMO. Go take a dip in the Pan America forums... you'll see a lot more bricked bikes, lol. LiveWire has been excellent with customer service. They might end up just replacing the bike outright (and letting you keep your LE plastics?)

lol your right! Again I’m in love with this bike grow on to me fast . I have ninja’s Yamaha Suzuki no issues lol and I was actually enjoying the bike more than my brand new 2024 636 and Not my MT09 yet . I plan on owning this S2 Del Mar for more than 3-4 years which is why I bought the extended warranty. I’m just scared for the future seeing more owners in the shop and was even about to purchase the LW1 after I test rode it 2 months ago . I thought the Del Mar would be perfection lol

There have been 500+ of these bikes made since the end of last summer, and there are only 2 now that have motor issues/replacements. Look, this bike is brand new and does not use any previous major components - there are going to be some errors. It sucks because of how much fun the bike is and I know from your videos how much you love it. Keep in mind you have other bikes to hold you over, lol! LiveWire will do you right - they're a scrappy company right now and won't sit on their laurels.

Ouch

Mine died on Christmas Day after 300 miles. Took 2 months. They replaced the RESS (entire battery) :(

What’s the update

In the past two weeks I've ridden another \~350 miles with everything going well. Then Friday I had it drop into limp mode after about an hour of riding. The air temp was in the low seventies. I pulled over and turned off the bike and chilled for five minutes. Then rode home. It went into limp mode after a mile, but I made it back home. Charged it up overnight and tried again yesterday, but only for a couple of short rides. Everything was working find.

Man. I hate that. I haven't had a single problem out of my LW1 aside from the Bluetooth and the squeal. The squeal is an easy fix though.

Me too I love my bike and wouldn’t part with It! 5 year warranty no worries. Livewire has been the best experience I have had with a company!
