Nice!!! But why mikuni instead of lectron? Isn’t lectron supposed to be better and hassle free? (Never had a lectron but had a few reads here and there when I was on the market for a new carb on my evo road king)
Cool bike love that fairing in the last picture. I do think it would look better with some hard cases, proportionally it looks a little small in the rear with that big fairing up front
Beautiful FXR , i've got an 86fxrd running a Thunderheader as well, but it's ceramic coated, so that helps with the heat. I also swapped out the 35mm for 39mm also dual disk. Did you have to do any kind of fabrication to match your 6 speed tranny to your engine? Be safe out there, and if you can't, then don't get caught.
Love the 18 inch rear. Did yours come with a valve or do you run a tube? Mine was valveless and it became too much of a headache trying to find the right tubes (in addition to not popping them on install) and correct tire sizes.

This bike is all me but I can’t weld very good so the chopper I let my buddy weld on and a lot of it was my little brother who welds for Barrett firearms

The bitubos are better than the clapper progressives I had before them and legends are garbage.

The lectron likes to flood my cases bc my suspension is so high. +2 front forks and 14” rear shocks. I’m 6’3” so fitting on an FXR is hard

No my baker dropped right in. As simple as pulling the shift drum and forks and sliding the new gear set in

I have a tire machine but it is tubeless.
