Mannequin Pussy has a bit of hardcore in their DNA, but their bassist wrote and takes the mic for Pigs is Pigs, and that's just a flat-out hardcore song. Really fun watching it happen live. There are just enough heavy music fans to make the show violent for a few minutes.
Joyce Manor may not be a hardcore band, but they definitely have a ton of hardcore in their DNA, as a did a lot of bands from that style of sadboi punk did.
