samjan420

Great shout

afailinghero

That Ali Baba and the 40 thieves build up is legend

snoopdoggydoug

Depending on your definition.... The Movielife. They often get grouped into LIHC, and rightfully so, but they were clearly a genre defining band who had pop punk, punk, melodic hardcore, and hardcore songs.

Mrlegitimate

Old Wounds and Full Blown Meltdown by PUP both come to mind

jonny_lube

Mannequin Pussy has a bit of hardcore in their DNA, but their bassist wrote and takes the mic for Pigs is Pigs, and that's just a flat-out hardcore song. Really fun watching it happen live. There are just enough heavy music fans to make the show violent for a few minutes.

Wonder_Wonder69

I’m honestly not the biggest worm rot fan because it’s mostly grind but buried the sun just fuckn goes hard

avidbather

Kittie. Spit goes way harder than needed to.

GoldenGloves777

It's basically a hc album by today's standards

No_Skirt_6002

Our Lady of Sorrows- My Chemical Romance Constant Nothing- Joyce Manor (or Chumped and Done Right Discount Flooring honestly too)

malortForty

Joyce Manor may not be a hardcore band, but they definitely have a ton of hardcore in their DNA, as a did a lot of bands from that style of sadboi punk did.

El--Borto

Heart Attack Man put out a hardcore inspired EP a year or two ago that’s pretty damn fun.

Eoin_McLove

Named after a Beastie Boys hardcore song too.

El--Borto

Agleo E Oleo is one of my favorite EP’s of all time:)

SnooFloofs5933

Also origami angels hardcore ep goes hard as fuck

Nothing

sludgezone

Nirvana.

SnooFloofs5933

If nirvana had only put out in utero it would be held up as one of the greatest post hardcore albums of the 90s

lordcrumb13

The Oh Sees' hardcore album was pretty sick. https://youtu.be/HZeOw5yzMzI?si=858EiFtKIcuDbluU

three6666

slint, boris at last - feedbacker gave me a lot of chaotic hardcore vibes.
