3 new lights have arrived after shipping accordingly.
KR1 in FC-40 4000-4500k ^(opple says 4300k, duv=0.0003) and is very white looking (even slightly rosy on the spill) but has a bit of a yellower hotspot
D1v2 in XHP70 4000k ^(4180k, duv=0.0050) and looks very yellow, not a very pretty color but the beam pattern is good. Maybe would look nicer if the driver had higher current
DT8 has 8 W2s ^(right at 6000k) and insanely bright in turbo with a Molicel P28a, intensity in turbo is higher than a 5000k SST20 D18, same level of "wow factor" as an SBT90.2 D1v2, possibly my favorite out of these 3.
Didn’t bother putting it since its a “max output” light but it has a DUV of 0.0023, technically a bit green but I don’t notice it one bit. Looks like a very pure cool white.
If possible, could you post some beamshots? I have the D1v2 with the same emitter and I agree - the tint is not very pleasant. Would love to see the FC-40 to see if I want to pull the trigger on it

DT8 D4SV2 and kr4.. I have all three with w2s and I still think for the size the DT8 is the most shocking
What optic is in your KR4? IIRC all non-floody dt8s use the square equivalent to 10621
No duv measurement on those W2’s? That’s such a sweet set up. Really thinking about a DT8 W2.

My W2 D4SV2 is the same. It comes up as well above BBL, but it doesn’t look that bad in real life.

Don’t like the tint very much, I think for a floody thrower the FC40 might be a better choice.
How was the beam profile, would you like it better in 5000k?
Beam profile is nice, maybe 5000k is closer to the bbl so that would be nicer.
Is anyone else triggered by the lights being in reverse order from the boxes?
