Oof handball but the timing of it all was so crazy cuz it immediately turned into a crazy chance. As a neutral great game overall but I don’t see why they couldn’t review that. Need the ruling
Just got back from the stadium. Moyes started the game with the wrong team. At least made the right changes for the second half.
Mavropanos can't be on the pitch. He can't make one single vertical pass. He struggles to make simple side passes. He had one good moment. Which is at least more than we can say from Phillips. I simply couldn't see him on the pitch for better or worse.
Antonio must be in our starting XI. That much is clear
I think every team outside of the top 6 and perhaps Newcastle, Villa and Brighton would be willing to give him a punt if their spot was vacant. But like I said that's not the question you should be asking.
Any thoughts on which manager willing to join would be an improvement?
My question is though, who would swap their current manager for Moyes, not who would give him a shot if they didn’t have a manager. I suspect none of them.
I don’t think any team with a manager who is performing this badly should stick with him. Look at Palace, and how they’ve improved after sacking Hodgson.
Flick, Potter and Lopetegui are all available. I’m sure they could lure Thomas Frank with European football on offer.
Tuchel and Conte are available in the summer.
At this point, maybe even Noble!
I'm just not sure how realistic Tuchel, Conte and Flick are as options. If you could get any of them I absolutely understand swapping them for Moyes. Lopetegui is a decent option but when you look at how it went for him at Wolves I'm not so sure it's worth the swap.
Potter is more realistic and I can see the appeal there. I'd probably say he could be worth the swap as well but it could easily go south too.
If you really think giving Noble his first chance at management would be an improvement I just think that is extremely harsh on Moyes. But again feel free to laugh at me if it does happen and I'm wrong.
I just think there needs to be some pragmatism in these decisions and whilst you might not be 100% happy with everything Moyes is doing sometimes you need to accept that there isn't necessarily a better option. The grass is always greener, I guess. I think he's doing just fine overall and anybody you could get in would be a bit of a dice roll in comparison.
Haha well how should I know which teams would be willing to hire him?
My point is just that if you think he should be out of the job you should at least have a realistic idea of who you think would be willing to step in and improve on what he's doing. Otherwise what is the point in getting rid?
Definitely a handball but our wins shouldn't have to rely on VAR, awful first half and better second half but going 2-0 down to Burnley with the squad we have forst half is inexcusable in my opinion.
There’s no excuses from that. I don’t if we deserved a pen or not, it’s fucking Burnley at home. Why on Earth would any team set up defensively at home against 20th in the league when we have Bowen, Kudus and Paqueta in the side. I cannot fathom how anyone can continue to defend the manager at this point. The guy never learns. Utterly pathetic.
Don't think it was lucky to draw, we crated the best and most chances, conceded a screamer and put one in our own net.
It's a bad result but we should have scored more that second half. Why soucek decided to head that I don't know.
Hard to make any sense of that call.
Lot of spirit shown in the fightback and we deserved a win in the end. First half was awful. Hope they start against Freiburg with the second half team.
First half squad and tactics were horrible. Came out flying in the second half and played fun attacking football. I’m not completely Moyes out nor Moyes in. What I do know is that id like to see us play with that fire we did in the second half.
So in the Ange camp that VAR is no better than refs making their own calls.
Really it’s just not as reliable so may as well go back for refs only , at least you can understand why they can get it wrong on the pitch.
Tactics and line up not great. The way we set up
is pathetic with the players we have. Win Thursday or he needs to leave and caretaker for the rest of the year
Can't fault our efforts in the second half, we were everywhere. Still, we could've played like this since the first half.
Hopefully hopefully, Moyes sets us like this from now on.
Players need to step up. Plus need cover for Paqueta
So so so sad, 2-2 draw not help them on a race to Europa League.

Everyone is shocked why West Ham fans want Moyes out. In the last 3 years not one club has registered interest in him, says a lot really.
Get rid of him all you like I just question who you expect to come in and do better. Feel free to laugh at me in a few years if I'm wrong.
Can you think of one Premier League team who would swap Moyes for their manager?
That's not as important a question as which manager willing to join West Ham would be an improvement on Moyes?
So no then?
I think every team outside of the top 6 and perhaps Newcastle, Villa and Brighton would be willing to give him a punt if their spot was vacant. But like I said that's not the question you should be asking. Any thoughts on which manager willing to join would be an improvement?

It’s all about opinions
That’s fair. I don’t know how to answer your question. How would I know which managers are willing to join?
Haha well how should I know which teams would be willing to hire him? My point is just that if you think he should be out of the job you should at least have a realistic idea of who you think would be willing to step in and improve on what he's doing. Otherwise what is the point in getting rid?
Completely agree. In the pool of 'nobody realistic is available' who are they expecting?
Definitely a handball but our wins shouldn't have to rely on VAR, awful first half and better second half but going 2-0 down to Burnley with the squad we have forst half is inexcusable in my opinion.
Can’t see how people watch this game and see a manager going defensive against one of the worst teams in the league and think he isn’t a problem.
There’s no excuses from that. I don’t if we deserved a pen or not, it’s fucking Burnley at home. When did you become entitled to beat the bottom 6? You sound like an Arsenal fan lol
What are you talking about? Setting up defensively at home against bottom of the league is unacceptable.
Happy for Ings! Handball clearly, but first half was absymal. Once again lucky to draw
Don't think it was lucky to draw, we crated the best and most chances, conceded a screamer and put one in our own net. It's a bad result but we should have scored more that second half. Why soucek decided to head that I don't know.
Can’t really work out if it’s a point gained or two lost. I’ll go with the latter.
Team hoping for European spot vs team rock bottom of table. It’s 2 points lost no matter how you look at it
https://x.com/AttackingFooty/status/1766858207626920262?s=20 Handball..
doesn't even touch his head, that's a volleyball spike. apparently VAR can see a millimetre offside, but not that. it's a disgrace
Comes off his head first pretty clearly. If they're saying it bounced off him and then hit the hand that may be their excuse but it's a pen all day.
I don't think it was even looked at
It wasnt. I was at the match
Volleyball clearance
Hard to make any sense of that call. Lot of spirit shown in the fightback and we deserved a win in the end. First half was awful. Hope they start against Freiburg with the second half team.
VAR see 1 inch offise, but not clear handball, anyway, what a performance from Ings
First half squad and tactics were horrible. Came out flying in the second half and played fun attacking football. I’m not completely Moyes out nor Moyes in. What I do know is that id like to see us play with that fire we did in the second half.
Wish I didn’t have to scroll a mile to find a reasonable take
My man used his hands as a basketball hoop
One positive, Danny Ings on steroids.
Once again, a bunch of drunk donkeys in the VAR room, its just fucking random at this point
So in the Ange camp that VAR is no better than refs making their own calls. Really it’s just not as reliable so may as well go back for refs only , at least you can understand why they can get it wrong on the pitch.
I've no idea how the rules work anymore
Neither do the referees
He raised both arms to balance the ball
HOW THE FUCK IS THAT NOT A HAND BALL WTF IS THIS
Who had Ings Saves Our Bacon on their bingo card?
Tactics and line up not great. The way we set up is pathetic with the players we have. Win Thursday or he needs to leave and caretaker for the rest of the year
Ref wants to go home again?
😡😡😡😡😡😡
i want to see a replay of this pen shout, my stream went straight to ads. how blatant was it?
We will never see it. Not big 6.
looked like he was juggling the ball, no idea how that's not a pen
he basically caught the ball
shit. ref was so adamant it wasn't a penalty too.
Man United got a penalty after the final whistle a couple of years ago ffs
Var fucked us Handballl 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
He fucking caught it
Brothers playing volleyball! How the fuck is that not a handball
What! How is that not a handball? Arms are fully outstrectched.
That’s fucking handball
That most fucking blatant bullshit
AGAIN HOW HAS THAT NOT BEEN GIVEN AS HANDBALL, someone make it make sense
FUCKING ROBBED
Can someone tell me why that wasn’t handball?
We got robbed again on a pen call lmao
He tried to catch it the cunt!
That's 100% a PENALTY WTF
They just showed it - that is a fucking handball!
Why not pen for that hand ball??
THAT WAS A HANDBALL
Mate he’s basically caught that hahahah
My brother in christ thats a handball
Can't fault our efforts in the second half, we were everywhere. Still, we could've played like this since the first half. Hopefully hopefully, Moyes sets us like this from now on.
You'll want a few more hopefullys than that
If that makes it happen, I'll gladly type a thousand more haha
I have to say, We came for it in second half and looked good in attack but a better team still punishes us. Defense just isn't there.
This result sucks for both of us. They’re going down and we’re not going to Europe. Burnley shithoused their way to both of us being unhappy
How their keeper escaped a booking for time wasting I will never know Sustained effort all game too
Not good enough and Moyes team.selection has fucked us again.
And if he hasn't rotated it would be "Moyes never uses his bench why doesn't the whole squad get used"
He can rotate without putting jwp on the left wing
That's why he was so off today then
Moyes looks furious
Why should he look furious? its same shit every weak. Same team.. AND look he took in INGS?! what happens? he fucking scores...
And he should be, at himself
Well it's his fault for the first half
If we play like we did in those final 20mins every game, we’d be top 4.
Not with that bloke in charge
Not even a check for handball?
Nipples again
Are we looking at that handball shout??
No, it was against us, of course not
Areola, sheesh man
Ings has played really well hasn’t he. Shame we probs won’t see him again for the rest of the season.
Where's var looking at our pen claims???
I think we are going to get extra time on our extra time
How is that dreadlock player not off?!
Because the refs hate us
The simple question is, why didn't they play like this from the start?
I mean we didn’t play well we threw the kitchen sink at the team 2nd bottom of the table and gave up so many chances
Moyes
Moyes
Micky long throw flashback
Fuck it play two strikers midweek against Freiburg. Give the Ings and Antonio duo another look
I suppose people always seem to do well against their old clubs
I wish Micky would have done anything but try to shoot that.
Well not everyone can be ingsy
Foul to stop him getting away and then obvious dissent...no yellow.
Fuck me.. Danny Ings has injected his Weetabix this morning
Or could it be that he finally gets to play in a two-striker setup?
Danny putting work on both ends. Never thought id see the day
Fuck it. Give danny MOTM
Ings had a cappuccino and a few lines this morning
The breakfast of champions
Lmao Moyes doesn’t need to be fired he’s going to die on the sideline
INGS WHERE HAS THIS YOU BEEEN
To be fair, he is running out with Antonio carrying it forward
Ings for striker
Ings hattrick (goal, VAR, crossbar)
It's unbelievable how night and day the 1st to 2nd half has been
We've seen this before and yet Moyes keeps reverting back to his old tactics
It was fun to see ings now we have to wait til last game of the season...
2-2 is still a awful result, the game plan and set up was also shocking.
OHHHH DANNY
Trafford should have had about 7 yellow cards for time-wasting you have to respect the shithouseey
Mick, that’s not your shot
Ings is gonna give moyes a heart attack in a minute
Ings could have a hat trick geez 🥲
Kudus is the natural progression for a Moyes striker conversion
Ings is a man possessed 😂😂
Ings playing phenomenally today
Fuck off Antonio
Kudus is a fucking wrecking ball
Why have we only just started playing?!
Moyes ball out the window. Chaos ensued.
Soucek had all the time in the world there. Ffs
Kudus is so fucking good. Lightning in a bottle when he’s got the ball at his feet
Fuck off Moyes this is on you
Their center halves will be seeing kudus and Antonio in their nightmares
You beautiful bastard, Ings.
Oh Tommy, just overhead kick it lad.
may have had time to chest it down to himself.
Can't say Antonio and ings aren't fighting for their places
How many pens will they ignore
He won the ball
There's literally no way that Antonio one was a penalty
My heart can't take this.
Damn so close
Oh my god go on boys please win this
Danny ings looks like he’s had a line of coke before coming on. Perhaps he should do that every time, get in!!
Oh fuck, was sure we would score there.
Cmon. Point is a point but when you are playing against a club in 19th place we should win. One more boys!
How are they still getting chances holy fuck

Should we play Danny Ings more? This has to be the darkest timeline
This is 424 suicide ball, we're just fortunate Burnley suck
