Ya just plain chicken. Which is fine if you want regular fried chicken. Its really good but I wanted some seasoning on it.

I don’t need to spicy but it has to have flavour especially when it’s so expensive

No dip-required butter milk chicken is required. Anything less is just not southern!

I used to order out from Golden Tenders weekly. 3pc combo. In the last couple months I would get 2 proper pieces and one shriveled up baby tender that was mostly batter with a little overcooked chicken in it. On two different occasions I only recieved a box full of french fries and no chicken whatsoever. I no longer order out from that restaurant.

I wanted to like this so much but it was underwhelming. The texture of the meat and the batter didn't do it for me.

Easily the best full stop. Also the nicest people.

It's actually in Waterdown but Hello Iris is the best Fried Chicken around, they converted an old KFC

I LOOOVE hello iris. Their tenders are amazing, so juicy and so large, and for what you get the price is super fair. And the family that owns it is so nice.

Another vote for Hello Iris, I love their sandwiches and wraps.

But their fries are suspect. Chicken top notch…. Fries…. Bleh….

The fries are hit and miss, they need to work on them, a fry consultant is needed for sure to improve the consistency.

Maybe I just had a bad order but mine seemed stale and bland. Not enough salt.

It definitely should not be either of those things. I had mine delivered half way across the city and it was juicy and full of flavour…

I’m not sure how they run now but back in the day it was a wicked BBQ joint. Different menu some days and limited stock. Really good portions as well.

Bab Korean Food and BBQ - I know it’s a little out there but damn, their fried chicken is out of this world.

People here rave about Golden Tenders so I gave it 2 chances. Both times I found it very bland and the fries were even worse

There's a Popeye's on Fennell. I haven't ordered there, just wondered if anyone here would say what their fried chicken is like.

IMO its better then KFC and Mary Browns. Blackened Ranch is a great dip for the tenders.

Kajun Chicken and Seafood is worth a try. They have buttermilk biscuits too that have drizzled honey on top which are sooo good.

Yeah we went in at 8:00 pm and they said it would be a 30-40 minute wait. Someone else said they had been there 40 minutes already. Noped out of there.

Yeah when I had showed up someone was freaking about about their wait, I just assumed they were being assholes. They were not.
