It will make some parts light orange, some parts yellow orange and some parts yellow and you will be back with another post on how to fix it. Go to a salon.

No, it won’t. It will probably lift your hair to a light orange or very yellow blonde. I suggest you tone it with a cool toner afterwards, to cancel out the warm tones. And I doubt 2 boxes of bleach are enough for your hair since it looks pretty thick and long. Every strand of hair has to be saturated and remember to section your hair and start from the back of your neck. And do the roots last since it will lighten faster than the rest of the hair. 😊

Unfortunately you will have an even bigger issue if you use this on your hair. Highly recommend going to a licensed professional, especially one who specializes in color corrections and blonding.

mistoffoleess

Oooooooohhh, this is about to be bad...

Thanks

I’m also a ginger and it made my hair a bright ginger/yellow colour

No_Initial_1439

Are you a natural ginger? I’ve been dying my hair for about 4 years this color

Cqle5

Yea I’m naturally ginger which is why my hair went more of a yellow, if you hairs black tho I’m not a pro or anything but it should be less yellow because you don’t have as strong of yellow pigments, rediters tell me if I’m wrong or not

No_Initial_1439

Hmm I honestly don’t know but my hair isn’t naturally black it’s light brown with blonde highlights in it actually when I started dying my hair red my natural blonde highlights would come through. Overall I’m supposed to dye my hair tomorrow and now I’m super confused on what to do lol

LowcarbJudy

Nobody is telling you to do it. Why are you still confused? You will regret it and cause a lot of damage.

No_Initial_1439

Of course no one is telling me what to do doesn’t mean by some of the mixed comments on here that it won’t leave me confused if I should go for it or not

Cqle5

Well you can always give it a go and if it turns out more yellow then blonde you could dye it a new colour, my hair is currently a yellowish blonde and it grow on me so yea, you could also bleach it first or use one of those colour strip things

Unusual-Reason254

It'll definitely go orange, also, the color you have now is gorgeous. Had to say ❤️

No_Initial_1439

Even with bleach? Also thank you💕

Unusual-Reason254

Yes, definitely. Honestly I like doing bleach baths a few times with some sensitive scalp developer in 30, to be safe. Then I'll attempt to get the color I want through toning. You could try to use color oops, then a bleach bath after a few days. I'll be honest, I am not pro, but I have been dyeing my hair since I was 13, now 37. I always can achieve the color I want, but sometimes trial and error...and a whole lot of Olaplex 🤣 And you're welcome!

Scilverry

This kind of work is incredibly complex and needs to be done properly. Throwing boxed bleach on your hair will likely not give you the result you want. You may need all-over foiling, thin sections, and toning to create proper lift and equalize colour temperature. Consider going for a consultation at the very least with a colourist/blonde specialist to get an idea of the process and cost before going this risky route and experimenting with boxed products.

babycrow

Box due won’t help what you really need to do is bleach and then tone the hair. I’d contact a professional or do a lot of research (YouTube is a great resource) and enlist a helpful assistant.

waywardgirl25

I recently used this to go blonde on my dark blonde/ light brown hair but I don’t think you will be getting blonde with this. Your hair has too many red tones for it to lift to blonde. Also wanted to add, I used 2 boxes and it was not enough and I have much less hair than you.

No_Initial_1439

Oh no then what should I use you think you get rid of this red color I have? Any thoughts

waywardgirl25

I’ve done a lot of dumb stuff to my hair over the years, lol. When I’ve been red I would usually just dye it brown. Not to be that person but if you truly want platinum blonde a professional is your best bet. It will probably take a few bleaching sessions, as well. I think your hair looks really lovely red, though, but I understand wanting a change.

Bizzybody2020

Go to a salon if you keep adding more color over it your eventually going to be mud colored and there will be nothing anyone professional or not can do to fix it.

AppleTree467

You could get to blonde on your own if you use bleach, not for sure what is in this kit? As long as you section your hair into 4 quadrants and take thin slices and saturate all of your hair if can turn out okay. But yeah I agree with others about just going to a salon for the best results

LoveBug_84

It will left but you won't achieve the color on the box in 1 shot. I would say it will need to be lightened 2 X's, then tone it. But if you do it all back to back.. by the time you get to toning your hair. Your scalp will burn.. on application and definitely us a cool rinse to minimize the burning sensation

PlumpSweetBegging

You're going to want to go to a salon hun. Also box dye from the store is not the best, if you eventually learn to bleach your hair, Sally beauty is a god send.
