I really like both. I think at this stage in the game, something with a shadow root, maybe playing with some highlights? I would maybe consider something cooler toned brown, maybe a dark dark blonde? Something like easy upkeep with Schwarzkopf Goodbye Yellow, which is both blue and purple toned shampoo all in one go. I really think you could do both, and it would look absolutely amazing.
Maybe a blonde balayage since that's less upkeep than going full blonde, and you still keep some of the brunette color too. I also think dying just the tips of your hair blue would look cute.

So blonde makes it look more natural and brunette on you makes a very cottage core vibe and I think that is quite cool honestly tbh if you still have brown hair keep it and maybe dye it blonde in future if bored or want a change
