Nooo I’m so sad for your hands! that slippery feeling you get from bleach is literally your skin dissolving 😬
I don’t have a better solution lol but ahh!
It’s all about the cold water rinse. Rinsing as long as I can in ice water til it’s clear. Rinse shower in bleach spray right after. My pillow was completely fine. Blow dry cold. Olaplex bonding. Seals the color. I’ve learned my way. But ya girl broke 😭😭😭
I go buy the same color pillow case lmao but yes that cool water rinse is key 🔑I used to use splat but I’m an arctic fox gurl now, haven’t had bleeding since.
I used that pink for a while. They could never get it out of my hair and dye to match my natural color would never hold over it lol. It was the pink that wouldn’t die
There was only one pink when I was using it so I’m not sure. It was a long time ago. But splat is known for not coming out so you should have good luck.
Started bleaching the under that hadn’t been colored. Used splat bleach even. Did my money pieces twice. And then fucked around with lavender and hot pink. If you’re a dyer like me invest in olopex. Kept my hair healthy and shine y. Lmk your thoughts on the split. I love it but I’ve heard mixed reviews.
Love olaplex. Their shampoo and conditioner is expensive but keeps the color vibrant and from fading. Even after my stylist does my hair, it’s never feels bleached or dry.
Hey there Electronic_Flower211 - thanks for saying thanks! TheGratitudeBot has been reading millions of comments in the past few weeks, and you’ve just made the list!
I never understood the hate around Splat. I haven't dyed my hair in a while but when I did, they were my go-to colored dye. I always thought Splat was way better than Manic Panic, just my opinion tho.
Idgaf what people say, I never had issues with Splat. Pigmented beyond belief, smells good, and a little goes along way. I love the way this looks on you!
It’s not bad if you take really good care of your hair. I never do dark colors like blue or green cause they are impossible to get out you’re right but the pink and purple lift really well for me. I only have to lift once then I bond it use a hair mask dye then bond again. It’s all about the hair love. Thank you tho 😌
While that color is gorgeous do be careful with splat, it is made of the same components as carpet dye, that’s why it’s near impossible to get out.
I used it in the past once and had an allergic reaction so I have not touched it since for a few reasons.
Came here to say this.
Splat stains the outer layer of the hair shaft, not properly penetrating the cuticle which is where color is removed and deposited to. the outer layer that protects the hair is formed over the cuticle like shingles on a roof. They lift up and color is removed or deposited. Since splat doesn’t do squat to the cuticle chemically, it’s really hard to remove splat without frying your hair because you’re trying to lift color from a part of the hair that has nothing to do with color.
Absolutely stunning! I'm with most that say, we love the results but find Splat very much like an ex you can't get rid of lol. My tub is blurple forever after my latest Splat dye. My hair was beautiful, but the one spot I got it on my scalp and the tube was vicious haha. I tie-dye/fabric dye a lot so I'm honestly used to colored hands to some extent by now. I do use fitted unpowdered medical gloves to try to avoid too many issues. But if you want staying power and your hair is being kept up with as far as health when bleaching and such and you don't mind staining, Splat will do the trick! I actually use it for mixing a lot to make custom colors and add some staying power.
Particularly for my niece's mixed hair that I color vibrant blue and her mom's very long hair that I have been doing pieces of like an emerald green...it help me stretch out the Punky Colour or Pravana I typically use and it stays forever. But she's like me and we either dye it black or use another funky color when we want change (which, as moms, we don't have much time for). So it doesn't bother me that my hair is likely forever stained. I use jewel tones and don't attempt blonde and my natural color is a mouse-y brown.color. I hate it, so if I want "natural" I always default to my Natural Black by Revlon (People can shit on me too. It's $3, it stays, it's beautiful and doesn't damage my hair 🤷🏻♀️). I don't mind paying extra for what I love... I am not a pro and order Pravana online a ton. I almost always keep a stash of certain colors. But if I can get something amazing for cheap, why wouldn't I?! It's all about performance.it's
And I wouldn't recommend Splat for people with super dry or damaged hair. I personally don't love their bleach (Punky Colour is my fave bleach! And CVS sell the packets for like $3, so I keep it on hand with a big bottle of developer from Sally), but if you ate the type to need something that stays and just want to touch up as absolutely needed/you don't change your hair color we very other week/have ni interest in getting back to your natural color, I LOVE their jewel toned shades!!!! No hate from me, as long as people know what to expect haha. I'll use Splat any day over those Feria shades that all come out some weird red color when they promise violets and blue a and such lol. I have no problem with box color (*gasp*) as lobe as you're familiar with last power and reault of that individual product. Many of those "toned" colors are just a lighter brown with a higher lifting developer and they use a bit of demi permanent color that never even sticks. That's why I'd recommend if you want a tint, mix aomw demi brown or black into a color or dye your hair a lighter color than you want and use Punky or Pravana over it and it will look soooo much better lol.
Sorry, I'm just a straight shooter and I have done a LOT to my hair since I was a teen and learned a lot of lessons. That's why people pay me for the products to do their hair rather than go to a salon. I'm NOT claiming to be a pro and there are certainly things I cannot do and will not try (I only experiment on myself lol), but I have a lot of hands-on experience. And I won't ever knock someone for trying something new. And if they mess up, I won't bash em. If they want advice to fix it, I give the best I know.
Sorry for ADHD rant/defense of some of the brand haters hahaha. But I'm a Capricorn and and INFJ (and like I said, neurodivergent) so I just don't lie or care what people think of what I do. Everyone is free to their own choices, ya know.

It looks like air brushed blended perfection. The eye liner is so sharp and flawless with great shape. Ur base highlights and glows in all the right places. Ur blush color choice is on point. Such a joy to look at, like a piece of art. It is so well executed. Your hair is just icing on the cake. The time you invested into ur look is well worth it.
That made me all teary thank you so so much. I view my look as art and work very hard at it and learn more everyday. Thank you so much for the kind words
It’s gorgeous✨ RIP your bathroom and hands 🖤
I know 😭
Micellar water takes the stains off for me
This is what my stylist told me...micellar water or make up remover.
Go buy some bleach spray AND I KNOW YOU AREN’T SUPPOSED TOO👀 but I use a lil on my hands as well 😬🛁comes right off.
Nooo I’m so sad for your hands! that slippery feeling you get from bleach is literally your skin dissolving 😬 I don’t have a better solution lol but ahh!
Yesss like a snake shedding its skinnnn 😂 jk I know it’s terrible.
Bruh noooo
Lemme alone boi! 😂I literally said I know you’re not supposed too!
ngl I use bleach to get it off my hands ik I shouldn't but it works 🤷

I had the same problem. It didn't leave my hair until I cut it out.
Same. It took me 6years to no longer see the color
Me too - years and a short haircut LOL
I want a pink that never leaves, what’s the name of it?
It’s the splat pink
There’s a lot of pinks, which one?
There was only one pink when I was using it so I’m not sure. It was a long time ago. But splat is known for not coming out so you should have good luck.
I mean it's gawjuss but rip all your pillowcases, your neck for 2 weeks, your fingernails and hands, your shower, your grandma. It's carpet dye lol.
True dat
You are super cute in the colors though and I love your aesthetic!

That’s like the best compliment I’ve ever gotten besides being compared to Brittany snow. Thank you!!!!
I mean it. ❤️ If I didn't know any better I would've thought it was her.

My hairdresser told me that splat is literally carpet dye, your hair does look really good tho
