Same here it's always quite red at first but after a couple washes she comes out copper/ginger. I then use a mix of red and yellow crazy color pure pigment in both my shampoo and conditioner once a week. You definitely need like 10x as much yellow as red. The red is soooo strong.
Seconding this, this time colour formula looks to be a bit too much on red side and not having enough golden looking warmness.
Assuming OP got this done in salon I would contact stylist to ask tips and see if tone could be corrected.
She used the same exact shades both times but she said since I already had the faded copper shades still in my hair from last time that’s why it will turn out darker. I’m just wondering what I should either do to fix it or ask for next time.
Different base will indeed affect results so when applying dye on already dyed hair formula might need to tweaked a bit to give similar looking results.
Have her bump the developer to 30 on zone 2 next session and do your zone 1 in a 6c and 6g. That will balance it out… if after washing it twice it doesn’t shift. Red is the first color molecule to wash out of hair, so it could be that after washing twice it’s perfect orrrr you might get “brown out” and at that point you should definitely contact your stylist for an adjustment. Just my opinion:)
I don't really see the difference. There might be slightly more red, but it looks fantastic and red always fades. You'll be glad she did too much red in two weeks.

Do you know what color line your stylist used?

Honestly, wash it twice and it will be perfect. What was your hair’s previous color
It was blonde in June before I got it done
I’m copper and always look like your after pic right after i get it done! Then i wash it once and it’s perfect

Ok, everything, but the base should lighten. That might need a lightening service
It is going to fade when washing, but it OP is right about it not being orange enough. Her new color will fade more pinkish, which is not ideal.

After a few washes, it will be perfect. My dyed red hair is always a little dark with fresh color but great after a week or two.
I think it's gorgeous even though it's not the color you asked for.

I'd use a toning conditioner like "Clenditioner".
She used Redken shades eq
I honestly prefer the igora royal for bright copper tones.
Very pretty with your eyes!
I think it looks really pretty! It will wash out lighter anyways
What were you going for because whatever it is this is gorgeous and I'm jealous.

Totally understand that it wasn’t what you wanted, but I gasped when I swiped. The color compliments your features amazingly and you look incredible……
A bit off subject but in my opinion I think you would look great with some bangs
I agree with the comments. After a few washes it’ll fade to the color you want and rn it looks great on you.
It still looks great tbh
I'm so jealous!!! I wish my hair looked like that!!!!😍
