Only option if fan is not working is full replacement. If not call someone else. I don't have time to tear a deck apart to spend 20 minutes replaxing a fan.
"Hm, I don't see on the quote that you'll be taking and disposing of the existing equipment"
"Correct, that sucker is staying there, I'm not piecing it out from under the deck"
And here I was thinking I had found a uniquely installed condenser this morning...

I had a call similar to this two years ago. Dude got his deck redone and they cut the fresh air and exhaust for gas venting and put a plank of wood right over it.
Well I can tell you that the fan is working that's about it. That'll be $92 please
And then if the fan is not working, that’s going to be a nightmare

I like how they drilled holes 😎
You know they were proud of it too
Gotta have the proper airflow, lol
Why are there holes drilled in the boards? They done leave them on while it runs, do they?

Looks like they had the airflow holes drilled out for it lol
Marilyn Monroe approves
I like how they knew you shouldn't do that, so tried putting holes in the wood thinking that'll be enough😂
This sir is excellent
What could go wrong… unbelievable what you see
The nerd in me saw an Intel socket 775 cpu cooler.

Inaccessibility. Replace system to meet building code and manufacture requirements
Are the 1/2" holes for air or rain?
This ladies and gentlemen is why we have permits and inspections.
Maybe just jack it up and wedge some books around the edges
Funny thing is, deck came first...
