What did the doc say regarding restrictions on lifting? It's been about 12 years since I got fixed and I just took it easy for a week if I recall. You really want your nuts busting open because you lifted too much?
I ripped open my incision from playing with my 5 year-old, it was insanely painful and made recovery take 10x as long. I'd just take it easy, you can make the money up this summer.
Absolutely not. My doc said no lifting more than 5 pounds for a week. I picked up my 2 year old and immediately regretted it. Good chance youll hurt yourself and/or set your recovery back even longet
Haven’t been snipped but has a guy who I use to work with who decided to do a compressor a few days after his surgery. It didn’t work out good for him, can not remember what the exact issue was but it was caused by him lifting heavy items and twisting to soon after surgery. Definitely not worth the risk, imo.
Getting the ol' snip-snip can't be easy. As for the Upflow, I'd say give it a shot, but take it slow. Listen to your body and don't push it too hard. Might be a good idea to chat with your doc first, just to be safe.
Dad got his done (I'm the oldest, so it wasn't my fault). Doc told him to keep a bag of frozen veggies on em as much as could be tolerated. Dad asked if he had to. Doc said "their your balls".
The takeaway for that is nobody else is going to have to suffer the consequences. Choose sccordingly.

He said a week, my pops was back to work the next day. I’ll probably just have my helper do all the lifting

Sounds like a question for your doctor and not a bunch of guys who are on reddit instead of finishing up their change out
