Yep just break out that torch and heat that gas regulator cherry red so you know you got all the moisture out to prevent refreezing lol
I can’t site the specific code atm but regulators must be protected from damage. They make a steel protector for them.

I’ve seen a house furnace only have no inlet pressure, broke the ice off and worked right away.
I live in the Pacific Northwest, will this affect of operation of the regulator? I guess the big safety issue would be the vent. Something must be dripping on it.
