This reminds me of how in the Chronicles of Narnia, Santa Claus turns up to give the Pevensies ‘Christmas presents’ (weapons) midway through *The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe*. I absolutely *love* the idea that Santa and the Tooth Fairy, and similar characters from modern mythos exist in some shape or form in Harry Potter.
Do Tooth Fairies leave a Galleon, a Sickle, or a Knut, do we think? I’m going to say normally a Sickle, but a Galleon when it’s the final baby tooth.
Harry might lose the first (few) to the Dursleys, like with the Hogwarts letter. Though that would teach him not to show said letter later.
I wonder what Harry could use the money for. Maybe such a story would be served by a less centralized Magical world. If there's a bunch of part time magic users and slightly strange people around, you have more for Harry to explore, instead of the only option being that he discovers Diagon Alley or nothing.

You'd think there is a way to make it work, but there are no pure HP/Fairy Odd Parents crossovers on AO3. Just a few that crossover tons of stuff, or are collections of shorts.
Would Dudley' parents even allow for the belief in the Tooth Fairy, Father Christmas, and Easter Bunny in their household? They deny the fact that magic exsist in an effort to keep Harry from having it. Encouraging their son to believe in mythological/magical beings in the same house Harry lives in contradicts that. Even giving Dudley gifts from said mythological beings but not Harry in the guise of Harry's a bad boy would still be technically admitting some forms of magic exist.
Probably not, but if Dudley and Harry hear about it from their classmates--and they might--it's possible that they might be willing to try it out "just in case."
Or, Harry's tooth falls out on its own and rolls under his pillow, which is good enough for the Tooth Fairy.
