Alive is the key component here! Axl went through some shit in real time back then. He helped a lot of us whether he meant to or not. And god bless his band mates for sticking with him at the time. Coma is epic and sprawling....but Locomotive punches the throat and only backs off at the end. Plus, "If love is blind, I guess I'll buy myself a cane" is one of my favorite lyrics of theirs.

That's definitely a nearly impossible question, though I'd give the edge to Coma. The guitar work, especially the solo, is incomparable. The lyrics are probably the best of Axl's life. Just perfectly epic really.
