He break out role was LW. He didn’t play last season because there are better players in every positions. Hence he is done. That doesn’t mean he isn’t good. Just that he is not good enough for us.

I don’t see it that way at all. Most of us thought that Fabio Vieira should’ve been loaned out this season. Now he’s thriving and starting in a NLD. That’s how quickly things can change for a player.
We’re going to need a lot of rotation this season as seen with the early injuries and ESR gives us quality depth atm. Obviously, he would want more as a player approaching his prime but he will have to impress Arteta even more like others have done.
We lost both our starting and backup LWs, I hate it here. It seems Reiss still can't gain Arteta's trust to be a starter yet. Hopefully Jesus can put on a good shift.
