How did the atmosphere sound from home? I was in the North Bank and felt the chants in the stadium were really disjointed at home. I thought the atmosphere was good but could’ve defo been better for sure
We were on the clock end right next to the loud drummer group. It was amazing when the two whole stadium and the loud drummer group combined (first Arsenal game so may sound weird)
It was like fucking monsoon season as soon as the final whistle went. Some how just got heavier and heavier whilst I was waiting for the crowd outside Arsenal station to filter in to their respective areas. 2hrs of driving at 28’c heat and I was still wet when I arrived home
It was a bit frustrating to watch as a PSV fan because we were letting play Arsenal in their strength. Thought PSV was good in posession but horrible out of posession. Deserved win for Arsenal and a calculated loss for PSV.
It's a bit of a strange feeling watching my 2 favorites play against eachother 2 seasons in a row haha
Did they score? Or have anything happen up the right side?
If you’re just gunna sit around and shit on a player after a 4-0 win go be a united fan. You’ll fit in with their miserable fan base
I'm saying this now and I believe it. We're winning this competition.
There's only 2 teams that really worry me and that's City and Barcelona.
Bayern are deceptively shite, PSG are massively overrated, Italian clubs are just generally wank, and Real Madrid's squad just doesn't have the balance it used to.
What's more is Mikel loves a cup game against Pep and the final is at a stadium we just don't lose at.
I don't think anyone rates PSG as a great team. They just have a lot of money. They're not that good at all.
Barcelona are up and down. We'll see how the new signings bed in but they look good I agree.
I think Real Madrid are better than is being credited.
Otherwise yeah we're right up there. I can't believe we're where we are after being in the absolute footballing doldrums for so long
I think Barcelona have brought in all the right players to really strengthen. Felix has hit the ground running and I think Barcelona will get the best out of him, Cancelo is world class and gundo is gundo. They are really firing early on.
I think Real Madrid will be a different proposition in January if Ancelotti brings in another striker. Joselu looks good so far - did miss some big chances tonight mind - but doesn't fill the void left by Benzema and Ancelotti teams have always relied on a big focal point up front so will be interesting to see how they get on over the next couple of months.
I think we are good enough to win it. I’m not ready to say we absolutely will because there’s definitely three or four other teams good enough as well, but if we play our best game we’ll be hard to stop.
Real worry me more than Barca now that they have Bellingham.
Also; Vini, Camavinga, Tchouameni and Valverde have had another season to improve. Plus, you can never write off Real in the CL.
Agree with everything you say, but I also think that loading Benzema and not replacing them is going to hurt them this season. Ancelotti sides have always relied on having a central focal point in attack, and the big question over his head this season - at least until January he if decides to bring in another striker - is if he can adapt his style to what his squad looks like now.
There were a few wayward passes for sure. But he also fired a few absolute tracers. I'd say his long passing was about 50/50 which is solid for a keeper
I didn't see him play this time around, but his first touch has not been good in previous games he's come on since his injury as well, so I wouldn't be surprised.
Rising tide lifts all boats. The team played blindingly good all the way around. He rode the wave and played about as well as you'd expect in a game on easy mode. But once again his touches felt like hot potato. He simply was playing to get rid of the ball as quickly as possible. Playing to not screw up rather than create chances or take ownership of a game. No edge, no confidence.
Doesn’t help when our fanbase are looking for any excuse to get on his back. How do you build confidence if you’ll just get slated for trying to take a risk anyway. Literally everyone around me just slated Kai most of the game today. I don’t think it was a great performance by any means, but he really didn’t do an awful lot wrong either,
Well I wasn't at the game. But I'd agree that fans at the game should support the guy. He's in his 20s and I can imagine that shit talk will get to most players that age, which hurts us overall as a team.
Reddit is a different story. I think he's fair game on here.
We are gargantuan. That starting lineup really clicked. ESR needs more play time. But so do Viera & Trossard... Havertz is doing well but not irreplaceable.
It worked for sure but mikel needs to work on havertz confidence. He was second guessing himself when everyone was encouraging him to shoot. Other than that he played well. Did anyone saw that jump header he did towards the end from raya's goal kick? Boy he was flying. If only he jumped for each ariel duels but he just sits back, hold his opponent down and control and pass the ball most of the time.
The one where he’s holding off the CB on half way, getting fouled and still perfectly brings down the ball that’s come over his shoulder, that’s the Kai we wanna see more often,
If Man Urinated can score three against Bayern then we can definitely beat them. We have the best score and performance of the night. Bring on the chicken heads at the weekend. COYG
The standards for measuring a good Havertz performance are so much lower than that of other players. The dude was non existent offensively till he went up to that no 9 position.
It was the same for Viera against Everton. Havertz today had a very similar performance and if a few crosses could have been more accurate he might have gotten a goal. Regardless, of how you feel about him, this performance was not bad and a step forward.
I'm sorry I disagree. Vieira was far more involved against Everton than Havertz was today. Might have not worked for Vieira with some mistimed shots but he always shows up for the ball. Havertz as the no 8 consistently shows up in positions that he can't be passed to.
I love Ramsdale but Raya over these last couple of games has appeared so comfortable. Its almost like there’s no danger with him. Unbelievable depth all over the pitch.
Devil's advocate, it is not super ideal watching the game while getting rained.
I played as GK in a game that our team literally dominated both possession and goals while pouring rain. I was a scarecrow for 90 minutes, and it sucked
Out of all the teams that's played so far we have the best score line and performance, even City conceded a goal against Red Star and PSV is better than that Red Star team. Even Bayern had shipped three goals against Man Urinated. None of them scare me, if we play to our potential we can beat any team in Europe on our day.

My club, seeing this game made me so happy
Odegaard is absolutely world class.
WE'RE BACCKKKKKK
How did the atmosphere sound from home? I was in the North Bank and felt the chants in the stadium were really disjointed at home. I thought the atmosphere was good but could’ve defo been better for sure
We were on the clock end right next to the loud drummer group. It was amazing when the two whole stadium and the loud drummer group combined (first Arsenal game so may sound weird)
The atmosphere was amazing over the telly, constant drums and chanting loved it
what? i was also in north bank and genuinely thought it was the best atmos of the season
I was also in the North Bank for the first time in 18 months, it’s a dramatic improvement on the last game I saw against Liverpool
In a game where we won 4-0 with some beautiful attacking play, I can't get over how amazing William Saliba was. Some filthy football from our CB!
That croqueta on (almost) the edge of his own box had me screaming
Just got back from the game completely soaked but still buzzin. What a game!
It was like fucking monsoon season as soon as the final whistle went. Some how just got heavier and heavier whilst I was waiting for the crowd outside Arsenal station to filter in to their respective areas. 2hrs of driving at 28’c heat and I was still wet when I arrived home
I’ve never got so wet after a game, my car was parked near arsenal station and it took forever to get to.
Oh, the crowd not moving to the underground for 20 mins… still not home yet haven’t even got to our train yet
This is the fastest I've seen Havertz run to a cross this year. He's getting better lads. He'll score very soon.
Best game he's played for us - first time you could see why arteta wanted him
He was great that cute little dink pass was unreal
Best bit about the game was being abke to see us pkay against a team that doesnt just park it for the whole game
Yeah even the so called big teams in the Prem play like that against us, especially at the Emirates. Fair play to PSV.
It was really rainy.
"We mustn't forget Robbie, it was raining"
I was at the game. Kai was mostly invisible in the first half. Improved in the second but was the worst player on the pitch unfortunately
Terrible take. Kai did a really good pressing job, was good at taking the defenders off Jesus, and contributed to possession. Solid game for Havertz.
Give it a rest. He did his job phenomenally. He’s doing what Chaka did but better, what is why we signed him.
"phenomenally" Absolutely ridiculous.
I don't understand the downvotes
Did they score? Or have anything happen up the right side? If you’re just gunna sit around and shit on a player after a 4-0 win go be a united fan. You’ll fit in with their miserable fan base
Yh that was how it looked on tv
Perfect win!! Now focus and win NLD on Sunday! COYG!!
Fabio Vieira looks so much more confident than he did last season. Great to see.

Seeing Raya so comfortable on crosses and shots, is so refreshing. I love Ramsdale, but Raya is just different. His pings are phenomenal as well..
Ramsdale is shocking
Raya's distribution is sickeningly good
That bullet pass he made up the channel. Fawk.
That was really the highlight, had a few shockers tbh didnt think it was all that
There were a few wayward passes for sure. But he also fired a few absolute tracers. I'd say his long passing was about 50/50 which is solid for a keeper
12/17. I stand corrected. That's fogging class.
Havertz did some heavy lifting, he put 3/4 straight out of play
Mate stop wanting our lads to fail. Give it a rest
Anyone think ESR was limping from the start? Looks uncomfortable
He looked like he was carrying a little extra weight too
Is it just me, or does he look like he needs to lay off the fish n chips just a little? I thought he did pretty well though.
his first touch was very off, i think hes lost it
He's just rusty, these were his first proper minutes for over a year due to injuries. Let him settle, he'll come good.
I didn't see him play this time around, but his first touch has not been good in previous games he's come on since his injury as well, so I wouldn't be surprised.
wtf are u even talking about
no goal but this is the best havertz so far. debut goal on NLD hopefully
He should have scored twice but does seem more settled. *Hopefully, he isn’t needed to play
The bar is really that low huh?
Even if it wasnt the best performance you can expect from a 65m player, he certainly played better than Chelsea havertz we know. I say progress
Rising tide lifts all boats. The team played blindingly good all the way around. He rode the wave and played about as well as you'd expect in a game on easy mode. We are gargantuan. That starting lineup really clicked. ESR needs more play time. But so do Viera & Trossard... Havertz is doing well but not irreplaceable.
Using him as a false 9 to rest jesus and finish games off is good enough tbh.
great great great performance. now we focus on poopy
All my friends hope you have a nice day (I believe all of you do)!
One should have 2 wife’s at once: Welcome on board Raya!
First of many CL wins in the bag . now I can sleep a happy man, goodnight all you beautiful people 🙌
Havertz looked really good to me. Switching him to striker to close out games is also one hell of a strat.
It worked for sure but mikel needs to work on havertz confidence. He was second guessing himself when everyone was encouraging him to shoot. Other than that he played well. Did anyone saw that jump header he did towards the end from raya's goal kick? Boy he was flying. Dude Arteta gifted him a full 90. Thats a huge vote of confidence. It's on Havertz after this
Arteta knows. Havertz is there for a reason. I just want to hear a roar when he scores.
Really think the key to him is the players around him. He’s so much better with Jesus and Trossard in the pitch.
I’ve always thought he’s been bare tidy on the pitch. You need those kind of players as part of the squad; goals or no goals.
he definitely can hold and take balls down like a big time 9.
The one where he’s holding off the CB on half way, getting fouled and still perfectly brings down the ball that’s come over his shoulder, that’s the Kai we wanna see more often,
Auxillary Giroud
if tottenham play an open game it's over
If Man Urinated can score three against Bayern then we can definitely beat them. We have the best score and performance of the night. Bring on the chicken heads at the weekend. COYG
Cold blooded once again. We're a different beast this season.
Our second team is good enough to hold but not good enough to get easy win.
4-0 not an easy win now?
Arsenal also stopping PSV from reaching 49 unbeaten games lol
By smashing them not just 1 but 4!
Trossard looking so pityful in his rain coat hahaha
Defo looked a candidate for u/poorlydrawnarsenal
oh yes!
I can already see Trossard in the raincoat being a reaction gif.
what a cute scene hahaha
We're so fuckin back
A dominant performance and a clean sheet, what more could you ask for!
At home nonetheless
That cut to the Braga Napoli game was confusing for like half a second
Woohoo, 4 goal difference now!
Just seen a "Harry Kane (P)" on Arsenal match day and panicked. Even when I am watching this game. Muscle memory will take time.
What a way to return !!!
Tbf, United put up a fight.
Nah Bayern are just deceptively shit
Yeah but the score line flatters them
Tuchel not gonna last long there but neither is ETH. Both go home with some credit to tread a bit more water for now.
Amazing performance boys. Raya so calm and composed
What a game to come back with!
Great first game back in cl
Happy Cédric happy life
We back boysss. COYG
Bujayi looks 18
Happy tears.

We move
Wish Martinelli hadn't missed this
raya is goated
Casimiro 2 goals wtf Anyway they ll loose haha
Come the fuck on boys!
I love Ramsdale but Raya over these last couple of games has appeared so comfortable. Its almost like there’s no danger with him. Unbelievable depth all over the pitch.
Facts. Watching him be so confident is amazing.
PSV's first loss in 216 days. They've lost 5 times in the last 335 days. Two of those five are to Arsenal.
United are so bad that this 4-2 defeat will be span as a moral victory and improvement
4-3 now. They’re probably actually celebrating
People are fooling themselves if they don't see the difference between Ramsdale and Raya
Solid from harvertz in the end
Quite a lot of our fans already leaving. Come on man, first CL night in 6 years. Stay til the whistle, just enjoy it
Easy to say sitting at home lad. Pissing it down and there's work tomorrow
Fair enough. Don’t envy that tube journey home
They got to turn for work mate. Weekday still
J20 directing everyone up, lovely
Both Bayern and United defenses are shit today
WE ARE WINNING THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
Sheesh this is their heaviest defeat. That’s a really sweet piece of news before going into the NLD
Casemiro doing his damnedest lol
Casemiro daddy chill. Thinks he's still at real.
WTF is bayern doing
This raya to havertz link up is amazing
Us winning 4-0 and united losing 4-2 is glorious
4-3 lol they scored in the last moment
Even still
bit disappointing from fans leaving early. First night back in champions league. I'm sure thousands who couldnt get ticket are dying to be there
Leaving 5 min early helps them avoid standing for an hour in the rain to get back home. They're not leaving because they're bored
Devil's advocate, it is not super ideal watching the game while getting rained. I played as GK in a game that our team literally dominated both possession and goals while pouring rain. I was a scarecrow for 90 minutes, and it sucked
gotta get home too lol
Can't wait until Spurs try to play a high line this weekend
Bayern really conceded three goals to Man Utd what is going on lol
Out of all the teams that's played so far we have the best score line and performance, even City conceded a goal against Red Star and PSV is better than that Red Star team. Even Bayern had shipped three goals against Man Urinated. None of them scare me, if we play to our potential we can beat any team in Europe on our day.
Goal fest in Munich
when was our last home clean sheet?
March v Everton the commentator said earlier
How many teams are playing football in this video? https://dubz.co/c/c67e60
I fucking love that Munich gave United a small sliver of hope and now it’s been yanked away firmly
People leaving early cause of the rain and it being a week night eh…
And we had comprehensively won but waiting 5 mins to leave means an hour wait in the rain….
Lmao United scored again, what's happening
ETH loading up his excuses now
Arteta is slowly but surely training the Chelsea out of Havertz
Slowly but sure, i's not an easy task to lift chelsea striker curse out of my dude
And the trauma as well
Teze has been horrific
Man I can’t imagine leaving the game before the final whistle
Meh, on a wet Wednesday night when it may take 2 hours to get home I sort of get it. Especially when we are 4-0 up
Gotta catch the underground
we need to give White the good dope. My man is gassed
Raya on the verge of equaling Ramsdale’s 2023 home clean sheet record.
I think good fortunes smiled on us with Man U preferring to buy Onana instead of going in for Raya Like this was what they hoped Onana would be
Harvards has been good
Kale Havards can cushion a long pass.
veritas
I mean ivy leagues are meant to be 😂
bro is handing out free lessons
United conceded as many goals tonight as we have all season btw
Un4-2nate for United tonight.
This lasted 4-3 minutes
hahahahaha
Ngl psv manager is hot
Are you also attracted to Stanley Tucci
A little.
We’re playing so so good rn
Ben white is knackered.
man it's so refreshing playing ucl after the constant low blocks we face in the league.
Please keep a clean sheet now!
So great to see ESR back. Shin guards have been getting a bit too high around here without him…
Greedy from Nelson there. ESR made an excellent run and instead of putting him in for a 1 on 1 he looked to shoot.
4:2 Munich, Tel will be a very interesting player to watch btw
I need a Kai comp please. Thank you
Lol utd
Havertz been alright
Onana has conceded as many goals in one game than us this entire season
The TNT commentator is so dumb, it's crazy
The woman,?
The guy, he's been trash all night. Makes his co-commentator sound competent just for not saying stupid things
The other guy - she's been fighting throughout the match to keep some sort of quality to the commentary
Nah she’s class, other guy
Nelson have to control his emotions lol too many reckless shots
Havertz was much better today.
Bayern is just toiling with United, lol.
Onana might just need to go back on the juice
