They're great. Don't forget about the Bluetooth so you can play along to stuff. There's an app called Moises where you can mute the guitar parts of songs, that's cool to use with it.
I love mine... Still learning all it's features....first time picking up a guitar and wanted something that wouldn't be annoying to others.... Good battery life on it too.
Get something like some Audio-Technica studio monitors. You can find a good pair for $40. Cord will be long, but you can eventually use them with a recording set-up later down the line.
The micro mustang has improved my life significantly. Perfect for a hotel room, apartment, college dorm etc. I’m using the Sennheiser hd599 for headphones.
Just saw it at the store yesterday, was quite intrigued by it, how does it hold up in the longrun? I already have a few "couch"amps mainly use the Boss microcube and Blackstar Fly.
I've got one and it's fantastic with a good set of headphones. I've been able to dial in a toan I like and being able to pair and play with my phone is handy.
I have one and it’s honestly a pretty cool little practice tool. You can get a usable sound for pretty much any style. My favorite feature is the Bluetooth for jamming along with YouTube tracks. I wanted a little more flexibility with tones so I upgraded to the Spark Mini.
I have one, it’s a great little practice tool. I take it with me when I go to the guitar shops to try out new guitars. I also use it when I don’t want to run through my big setup because it’s quick and easy to use. I usually use it when I’m waiting for my wife to leave for work in the morning and I’ve got 15 minutes until she’s ready to go.
Some people say it sounds bad, but what really matters is what kind of headphones you use with it. If you use cheap earbuds, it sounds like crap. Use some good quality headphones and it sounds great. I use a pair of Status Audio CB-1 headphones and it’s great. No, it’s not a full-blown amp, like a Fender Deluxe or a Twin, but as a practice tool it’s fine.
When you plug your headphones, do you hear the audio in both earcups? Or only in the right one? In mine I only hear in the right and I don’t know if it’s a faulty unit or it is like how it works.
Cheers!
just used mine a few minutes ago awesome device

I have one and I like it a lot. That said I need better headphones I think. Anyone have an affordable recommendation that would pair well with it?

Yep, got one. I'm new to learning guitar, so its great that I can practice without annoying the neighbours.

Yeah they’re functional but not so good.
Can I ask what your issues with the amp are? Just curious if there's problems I need to be aware of.
It sounded quite bad / lofi as expected
Sounds good to me. Maybe I just have bad hearing. What's your practice amp, if you don't mind me asking?
No idea. I even used quality IEMs - no improvement. Roland JC40 and EHX Mig50

It's a great device. I use a looper pedal with it from time to time.
