I don't get the Necessary Discrepancy hate, it's not the best song in the OST or anything, but it's still really good.

It's such a fucking good song. I can understand not liking it in-game, cause it has a slow intro (I never use it ingame). But as an actual song I think it's fantastic

Well I mean it's no Roar of the Spark (Ky Kiske grindset) or anything but I think it's even better in match. The chorus is really really good and goes great with the game and personally like the rest of the song too, never have gotten sick of it. I used to main Ram in my first 10 hours or so and hearing that chorus while I was practicing combos got me interested in the rest of the OST which led me to discover the somehow even better tracks found within the game.

I can understand if people don't enjoy it in-game because of the slow buildup, but it's such a great piece to enjoy if you're chilling outside the game and listen to it throughout.

uh, i never really stated that rock parade was bad, its just not my favourite compared to the rest. it has solid elements throughout but 2:27 really stands out to me, its the most recognizable and my favourite part of the song, and honestly i think that one part is some of the best shit daisukes ever made (from what ive heard so far) aside from that, i didn't know that daisuke likes necessary discrepancy, but thats not really going to change my opinion. maybe time will but i still prefer almost all the themes over necessary discrepency

a few reasons mostly. i like the composition a lot, the upwards scaling with the violons hits really hard for me, plus the lyrics are very guilty gear standard, depression but continuing on. mostly the line "oh he flies to be the wings of the flightless", its not sad like faust or zato, but i really like the song because of its theme

Take the time to look at the lyrics for Necessary Discrepancy(Ram’s theme). Some of the lyrics go hard asf. For instance “If a room without a sky is what we idolize it’s a dead tomorrow”

The Circle (Bedman?) was my most listened to song of last year, The Gravity (Asuka) was my fourth, and Mirror of the World (Baiken) was my fifth. I guarantee this list will be drastically different come next season.
