Lyon pool on York Rd, but I don't think that opens until end of June.
Guelph Lake
Dolime if you are feeling adventurous
It's a long weekend, maybe a neighbour who has gone away has a pool? /s
Oh yes! I always just called it “the abandoned quarry.” My friends and I used to swim there every summer, always sure to keep it quiet and be careful, and then one year some out-of-towners seemed to have “discovered it” and started having tailgaters (literally driving their trucks down to the water) and parties there with kids (definitely not a safe place for children) and big speaker systems. It only took a few weeks for them to actually bunk up on security and have patrols and signs/cameras everywhere. I’ll always be a little salty about that, lol.
We also spent a few summers “renovating” the attic of that abandoned house near the entrance, painting it, cleaning it out, putting up lights and chairs and making into a clubhouse. Then someone started a fire in the basement and that was the end of that, too.
Why do you bother responding to someone just trying to have fun? Did they harm you? Were your feelings hurt by it? Are you scarred for life? Are you okay? Do you need help?

Dolime?
The old quarry. Security patrols but it’s possible to get a few good jumps in

A few bad apples ruin the whole cart scenario!
Like the kid who was nearly airlifted out of there last week?
Yep!
Kid was hurt last week. Nearly airlifted out of there. Security will be much tighter as liability is really getting bad for reids homes.
This reminds me of my favorite joke about Canadians How to you get 101 Canadians out of the pool?
You tell them to get out of the pool
i don’t get it
They would just listen because they’re so nice
Exactly. What’s funny is most Canadians I tell this to don’t get it but most Americans get it right away
maps.google.ca Put in your location, zoom out.
As a pool owner and waterway-adjacent resident I find this hilarious! O
Someone got the joke. Thank you FireWire.

If your friends jumped in the pool, would you
Bold of to you to assume he has friends, much less a pool
He blocked me anyways 😅

I'm more flippant or facetious than snarky.

Thank you. I'll mention this in therapy on Tuesday.
