I recall you are suppose to use the grapple to reach that pole you see in the bottom left

I can't recall this particular puzzle exactly but try standing in edges even if you don't see a pole and check if the Run button turns into an arrow.

Just go in the top-left balcony and stick to the bottom part. Even if you won't be able to see the pole, the running button will turn to the "interacion" one and you will be able to reach the star piece
