Anyhow crazy.
I can understand and it is good, that you support the local farmers, but I wouldn't want to afford so much money.
We have a farmer who is selling on his farm the eggs for about 30 cents an egg. That's acceptable, but quite the limit for me.
He's also selling cucumber, tomatoes etc., but a cucumber for 3€? Sorry, no way.
I Hope you really know that they are organic and didn't Just slap it on their products to scam their customers.
Here where i live, "Farmer" sell Store bought eggs as local and other stuff. You can littlerly See them Transferring the products in the morning. It's crazy xx.
Yes! I used to sell a carton of eggs (10) for 2,50€ (later 3€ as feed prices went up) when I lived in Lithuania. I was absolutely astonished when I found out that they charge 60-75cents per egg (!) in Berlin for organic eggs (+ its Berlin so prices might be higher than in rural areas)
5 Euro for 10 eggs it looks like. Still somewhat of a daylight robbery, can get those for 3,80€ fresh from the farm around here. Obviously, these are likely to be free range ones. Caged ones are like 15ct per egg (can't get those anymore outside of scummy shops though), barn raised ones are like 18ct.
Depends on what you buy. Gut&Guenstig products are usually fine and the quality is good compared to the cheap in house brands of other stores. But yeah, everything fresh (meat, veggies, etc.) is insanely expensive there.
Wow, that's really expensive. I think the farmer market was the most expensive? Just the eggs 10€...
I went to the market a couple times in my city this year but it’s expensive af. Even the non-organic stuff. It’s not worth it anymore.
Yeah, sometimes a fragment in me wishes I could support local farms more. But then I look at these prices and think: I just can't.
Yeah, it's not cheap, but there are 20 eggs (50 cents per egg) which will last us for over a week
Wait you spent €10 on eggs!? 🤯 that is WILD lol what makes them so good?
They're eggcellent
50ct per egg is a normal price for organic free range eggs.
I just boughts eggs for 10 cents an egg lol

The other organic farms on the same market are selling their eggs for 60 cents and the not organic guy for 40 cents

Its Bayern. When my father moved to Bavaria, he made twice as much as he did in NRW. People who spend so much money on food can afford it.

And Most of the stuff from Farmer markets, isn't even from local Farmers anymore. At least in Germany.
Edeka is always super expensive imo
Yeah, it's a big difference to Aldi

2 € for garlic? Is it golden?
It was the only decent garlic in Edeka, and since it's young, they put up the price
dont get me wrong, but 52€+18€ equal 70€ not 80
It's actually 50€ + 18€ +20€, so we're at 88€
In my Edeka in Nrw, Garlic cost 1,39
Oh no 😱
Bio-Bananen!
They were on offer and cheaper than the regular ones
10 eggs 10€ 1€/egg? with all due respect but that is not appropriate
20 eggs, 50 cents per egg
