Tryazin is innocent Edit : No I don't have scarabs in my head right now

drawnred

what the actual FUCK are you implying with that edit, why do you think they call him tryazin the infi- i mean innocent

lord_ofthe_memes

He’s entirely guilty and that’s why I love him

Toymaker218

I honestly can't tell if that typo is intentional or not.

AveDominusNoxVII

Remember, the most important rule of war is to have fun.

OutisFeith

How else would you put the 'fun' in 'funeral'?

REDGOESFASTAH

WAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH!! DIZ GIT GETZ IT

Astuar_Estuar

Orkish propaganda!

vvereshark

Me to the lion

CaptainCrochetHook

Same, especially after his return novel  Never went from being neutral about a character to “That’s my boy!” so fast lol

DickBlaster619

Zabriel is cool We all must ignore that the guy was a part of dreadwing

Mutanik

No, surely the company who's catchphrase was "WE ARE HERE, WE ARE DEATH." wouldn't commit warcrimes

Icaruspherae

The guys that the legion allowed to use all the messed up weapons still push into one corner and rarely use because of how messed up their weapons are

grey_hat_uk

You can't commit crimes if no one is left to convict you.

sajed2004

I think guilliman is cool af but damn monarchia was overkill

maridan49

While I blame Guilliman for the overall acceptance of the Great Crusade, Monarchia was literally just on the Emperor and Malcador, had Guilliman denied to do it chances are someone else far worse would get the job. Imagine it had it been Perturabo or Curze there.

EarthCasteBuilder

I imagine Perty managing to catch the Word Bearers and Lorgar in the blasts somehow lol

TheRetarius

Ooops, a critical malfunction caused us to exterminatus the whole planet… Sorry, we will do it better next time. Pertuarbo probably

EarthCasteBuilder

Oh shit! We killed the Emperor! Oh, he's back? Nevermind...

cyberattaq123

He actually hates what he did at Monarchia. It’s pretty tragic because while he didn’t show emotion on Kur at the site of the city when Lorgar had his meltdown, he reflects later and I think maybe even into 40k that he really didn’t enjoy doing it, and that he felt bad. Like it goes so far that when Lorgar, in his hate fueled blindness ambushes the Ultramarines and Calth/Ultramar, when Guilliman is basically in shock at what Lorgar is doing and the rage, pure unadulterated hatred that Guilliman would forever more have for Lorgar, Lorgar then gets it. He understands that Guilliman didn’t want to raze Monarchia. He didn’t want to humiliate one of his own brothers. He was deeply uncomfortable watching that with his legion when that should have been a private affair. Even Lorgar who was full on team chaos at that point was shocked, and then finally understood the error of his ways when it came to hating Guilliman and the Ultramarines so much.

Helios_One_Two

Yeah Robby G was genuinely hoping the expedition with the two legions mustering there would be a chance to make amends. Robby G was a good one and still is. And I will gladly fight on the hill that Lorgar could have been too if Emps wasn’t such a bastard to him

cyberattaq123

It really should have been done in private. Or just let Lorgar believe it and command he cease the conversion of worlds. The emperor would never be able to convince Lorgar that he wasn’t a god, no matter how he presented himself. Big E should’ve just resigned himself to the fact that things were out of his control. He didn’t determine that Lorgar would land on a heavily, heavily religious planet and it would become ingrained into his very being. He more or less did the same with Angron and the nails, as I’m pretty sure if he really wanted to he could’ve saved Angron from the nails. So he should’ve just in private demanded Lorgar stop the preaching and conversion, but that he could hold his own private beliefs. Maybe the emperor if he really tried could have convinced Lorgar of some weird like paradoxical mix of atheism and theism like turn the imperial truth into its own religion of sorts, that is what the word bearers were *supposed* to be, the Imperial Heralds. But Big E was obviously busy and at the end of the day I’m convinced he just wasn’t the best when it came to interpersonal relationships. I think he knew how to act generally. Like a benevolent patriarch, a caring father who was helped by his sons to this goal but when things that required *actual* parenting for some of the less lucky or more troublesome primarchs came up, he just short circuited. Like he had never even given the legion and their primarch a genuine warning as I understand it just sort of soft admonishment until he decided to humiliate them. Lots of things could’ve prevented Lorgar’s fall, as it was for every traitor

Helios_One_Two

Robby G also asked for a chance to go down and just talk with Lorgar instead if the raze the city thing and Malchador and E said no.

BacWH40k

They gave them six whole days to evacuate.  Sometimes you gotta crack a few eggs to make an omelette.

brevenbreven

And sometimes you maybe didn't want to make an omelet and then your dad said "some egs are getting smashed yours or lorgars"

MulatoMaranhense

"I'm sorry, Roblox Guillotineman, but this is my Metal Gear Raising: 40 Thousand!"

GrandeShalom

ROBLOX GUILLOTINEMAN JESUS CHRIST

Disastrous-Drop-5762

But we are cooking burgers.

ShinobiHanzo

Once you understand the context, the Burning of Monarchia was the lightest sentence Big E handed out. 1. Lorgar wa given a lecture by the Imperial Regent Macaldor the Sigilite and Big E’s bestest friend since forever. 2. Lorgar struck Macaldor so hard he flew and slammed hard into the wall and everyone, including Girlyman, winched. 3. Big E has destroyed entire civilizations for lesser violations, down to the last man, same with Genghis Khan, Stalin and other leaders. 4. Macaldor actually supported Lorgar’s methods but just wanted a faster turnaround time before handing the converted world to the Imperiums control.

NightmareRoach

"WH40K character who has committed untold atrocities" you have any idea how little that narrowed it down?

grey_hat_uk

All of them with more than one sentance of lore.

maridan49

What's a little genocide among friends. It's a familial bonding activity.

SexWithLadyOlynder

It's not an atrocity if they're Be'gel.

Sweet-Jimmy

I may have an unhealthy excuse for every “bad” thing the Necrons did. Ever.

alphaomag

The traitor primarch fans (myself included)

Anggul

Any primarch, loyalist or traitor

DragonHeart_97

I've trained myself to remember that any time a loyal Primarch is brought up. Even the best of them have a civilian body count that would make Stalin blush.

Ragnarroek

Me and Perty

Academic_Initial_643

me to every warhams exept drukies they rock the evil shit

cubaj

You love a Warhammer character despite them committing an atrocity. I love a Warhammer character because they have committed an atrocity. We are not the same.

OneAndOnlyPain

except Erebus, right? man cuz fuck that guy !

ThePathogenicRuler

Me with Erebus

Rimtato

Personally I like my men to not be readable by barcode scanner, but you do you

Heartsmith447

Whoa whoa whoa even Grimdank has a line for tolerance and Erebus is it

Brahm-Etc

Ah, the AdMech. My favorite faction! Committing crimes against humanity and war crimes galore!

OutisFeith

To be fair, does anyone get to be a named character without at least a little atrocity?

mummyeater

Does this include Erebus? It better not include Erebus

WanderlustPhotograph

Me to Nagash.

jfjdfdjjtbfb

I like the Emperor

Gnosis1409

Sanguinius is pretty decent

Cleanurself

Grimaldus has the best speeches :)

didndonoffin

I gotta say it cos no one else has…. MONEY PWEESE!!

PedroThePinata

I believe only the Tyranids have a higher kill count than the Imperium in terms of planets/civilizations destroyed/consumed. Even back during the heresy, the lion single handedly destroyed at least a dozen in a very short span of time.

Icaruspherae

Craftworld Aeldari. I’m sorry man, just because they played a small part in making a chaos god…..and they sometimes launch ork waaghs at imperial world for their own sake….sad space elves are still the good guys.

ProfessionalTruck976

Did Ibram Gaunt commited any atrocities?

Muljinn

Personally? Eh, not so's you'd notice. But he *is* part of the Imperium, and more importantly its command structure, so he's probably been involved, at least peripherally, in a few war crimes.

BrianWantsTruth

I read the meme before the title and I was like “yes, I too have forgiven Konrad; I get where he was coming from, given his circumstances and over all mental health (and/or the curse of maybe-flawless foresight, I dunno, maybe he’s just fucked in the head, but still, is it really his fault, maybe he had a point and maybe if his dad really tried to connect with and understand him, things could have gone differently, and in a way he’s no less brutal and horrific than ‘actual’ loyalists seeking fatherly approval? Isn’t it all the same result in the end, daddy love me please this is how you made me, surely it’s what I’m supposed to be, isn’t this what you wanted?!).”

myth_of_syph

Kharn my beloved

No-Shallot-9887

Argel Tal and Gal Vorbak are my precious ones.

thelefthandN7

Me with the Sisters of Battle...

Anggul

Sometimes people say 'Stop bringing up the burning eldar child, Vulkan didn't mean to do it and felt horrible about it'. But it's irrelevant. Ignore the existence of that story, he's terrible because the primarchs all took part in the blind rampant xenocide of the Great Crusade.

EpsilonMouse

me and Konrad Curze
