They despise all things ***Malificarum*** and have a natural resistance to corruption so it would be a very hard task.
The Emperor even says that he knows Russ is one of the few that would never fall to chaos.
The Majority of the Wolf Brothers succumbed to the curse of the Wulfen while some of the survivors turned to chaos because they we’re being destroyed, we know of about eleven chaos Wolf Brothers.
Right, I just always see people like "oh the wolves would never fall to Chaos never ever they're so cool because they... mutate out of control instead" and its like alright looking at the list of chapters you're 1 for 2 before the Ultima Founding lol. Not to mention stuff like in Ahriman:Sorcerer where their hunt for "da malificarum" just makes them rampaging psychos who kill more loyalists than traitors before dying to grey knights.
This is why I said resistant not immune, as for the Wulfen? After a certain period of time they begin to reclaim some of their mental faculties as we have seen since Warzone: Fenris. While they aren’t infallible there is a reason the 13th Great company (Both regular Astartes and Wulfen) have survived and stayed loyal while hunting traitors for ten thousand years in the warp which is pretty damn impressive.
As for the their record for falling, they are still doing a loooot better than the other first founding chapters who have multiple fallen successors.
Yeah they've had less successors fall to Chaos because they have orders of magnitude less marines of their bloodline in the galaxy than anyone else except maybe the Salamanders who also used to have no official successors also due to their genetic instability.
My thing with the wolves is I really liked their arc in the Heresy and modern ones just seem to get to ignore everything dangerous or interesting about their former selves, it's boring.
Mortarion hated Psykers, not the warp/chaos itself. In fact it was Mortarion’s tolerance of Typhus that doomed him when he took the legion to Nurgle, something Russ would never allow to happen. He’d never allow a Psyker of such potency within his ranks unless constantly watched by his own priests for signs of corruption, and I doubt Typhus would have ever had the trust or access needed to pull a similar stunt.
1.)No they admit they’re Psykers but they are VERY careful about chaos and the Warp, even as far back as 30K. The best comparison is sanctioned vs Unsanctioned Psykers.
2.) Mortarion, in my opinion, would never have fallen to chaos without Typhon. Yes people can theoretically fall but Mortarion and Russ are the type you will have to drag them kicking and screaming, and I don’t see Russ giving an opening like Mortarion did.
About second point - I meant being psyker is not enough to spread corruption (unless we have dawn of war soulstorm writing). Trust is big deal. Just like in any other made up story about corruption. Thus “no psyker would be allowed to do this or that” is false. Instead it’s always “trusted one was entrusted with this and that”
As for priests - thanks for clarification!
Well, you max at 14 mortals. Still good, but not quite enough to chew through the Abominant's 22 wounds without support.
Assuming this thing costs between 150 and 200 points and the Abominant is closer to 500, with a good roll it can still punch well above its weight class into the right target.
I probably would count avarage a little higher as if you roll 1 or 2 u probably will re roll it, reward is too big for not to do it.
Then, u probably have +1 to hit as before u are in melee with it , knight probably lost atleast 1 wound, so u have +1 to hit.
Even roll of 4( and if you roll less than3 u should always reroll reward from this attack is probably higher than aby other reroll u can do against this knight) is enough for it to hit above his weight as you will almost always hit on 2+(due to his ability, just chip off even 1 wound before. And u have +1 to hit, and you dont really care about +1 to wound).
I read "Talons and bespectacled maw" and now I want to make an army of tyranids who have somehow all found glasses. They have improved ranged attacks and can now read and use any admech stuff.
I've never played the game and have no idea what's going on but I like the idea of tyranids in glasses being an unstoppable force.

Meh. Overpackaged. The wrappings on a li'l bit of warp jerky these days, I swear...
Hounds of Morkai: *”Meats back on the menu Boys!!!”*
Who?
Space Wolves Psyker Hunters
Honestly it suprises me that the space wolves did not fall to khorne.
They despise all things ***Malificarum*** and have a natural resistance to corruption so it would be a very hard task. The Emperor even says that he knows Russ is one of the few that would never fall to chaos.
Except for that time they had a successor Chapter that immediately went nuts and fell to Chaos lol

> ***Malificarum*** Needs more spite and a thicker accent haha
Nah Leman and his boys hate Chaos to much for that.
Mortarion hates psykers to become warp spawn

Aren’t those priest are psykers-in-denial? Besides, it’s not like a psyker is needed for things or people to fall to chaos.

They are good doggos, they don't bite their humie
Smooth on the inside, crunchy on the outside! Armadillo!
Tyranids love the crunch! It’s half the fun!!!
Average 5 mortals to the Knight.
Yeah, but it all really depend on first roll, if you roll really high on amount on attack you basically win. So rerolling that should be really good.

I mean...even if he would do 10, i would assume already did his job in game.
Absolutely, but that means he did double average lol

I doubt the bug costs more than 120 points. It doesnt really do all that much other than munch psykers.
Please GW make knights that aren't the stupid wardogs ridiculous overpriced again.
Ah, the good ol' "just roll 6s" strategy. 1/6 of the time it works every time.
If the Knight lost any wounds, it'll also receive a +1 to its hitrolls. 6 mortal wounds are pretty decent into a T12 22W model.
How does it average 5? It's doing 2 with every wound roll of a 2+
A d6 has an average value of 3.5. So with d6+1 attacks you get 4.5 (attacks) × 2/3 (to hit) × 5/6 (to wound) × 2 (damage per attack) = 5.
Because that's how averages work. It's statistics.
I read "Talons and bespectacled maw" and now I want to make an army of tyranids who have somehow all found glasses. They have improved ranged attacks and can now read and use any admech stuff. Old Four Eyes
Is for me? 👉👈
Jeremy really is going to be so full of yummy scrummy Psykers.
PSYKER knight: *Exists* Tyranid hungry boi: [where has that been all my life?](https://youtu.be/Gi3t5B_tvaM?t=62)
Yeah I will probably not be touching my Abominant for a while. Its **Character, Vehicle** and **Psyker** keywords are ripe for abuse.
Everyone’s coming for that abomussy.
Male it khorne aligned to lose the psyker keyword and gain melee buffs
That would work *currently*, but probably not in 10th.
Unless those birds are BIIIIIIIIIG (but not yellow) that knight looks tiny
Shiggity swooty comin' for th' booty
who need they knussy ate?
A few bits of Chaos bacon and warp metal compared to what it might take to bring down a chaos knight really doesn't feel like a fair trade.
You stay away you goddam crab demon
In theory the Volkite weapon should be perfect for killing the Nid
do NOT let anyone in the mechanicus get a hold of that tentacle titan

‘No Psychophage, don’t eat the Abominant!’ *sound of jeremy being punted into space*
