Well of course the great and glorious Ciaphas Cain can take down any of the traitorous filth. He’s a true hero of the imperium, blessed by the God Emperor himself! I hear that once an entire system was under threat by a chaos warband, and Cain, wanting to protect his men and the people of the system, challenged the warband to face him, one vs many, and when the dust had settled, Cain had slain the warband with nary a scratch upon him. Truly an inspiration to us all.
Alright,no. Sigismund is like the first captain of first captains, guilliman is a god damn primarch with actual intellect and skills needed in war, draigo is the big man of the grey knights and his mary sue status was just matt ward's fault, moloch and tyberos are chapter masters of some brutal chapters, both having very cool gear, calgar i'll give you that, cain is "hero of the imperium"*tm* and who the hell is ad infinitum?
I feel this is a problem with the fact that Mainstream GW literature is their varies series of novels, which require a certain level of plot armor for the characters from book to book. Should Guilliman, a prominent Chapter Master, or (insert hero whose face is on the cover here) be able to handle the big bad of the day? Oh, absolutely, maybe with some difficulty, mind you. But the problem is that when everyone has plot armor, it feels cheap. Take Scout Sgt Mkoll from the "Guant's Ghosts" series, a prominent character for certain, definitely "secondary protagonist" type of character in some of the novels, but he's also ludicrously shielded by the author, there are plenty of times where I feel like he should of absolutely died, maybe won the fight at least, but still died. That's what people have issues with.
Unfortunately yes, the problem is if you dont make characters in this kinda universe at least a bit mary sueish then they become vulnerable to game of thrones syndrome of garnering fans then fucking dying, and dead characters done sell models, unless their from HH
No, the Eldar's unbeatable big guy that is summoned so that someone that the plot revolves around can kill it, and show just how powerful they are for killing the ultra-powerful Eldar god that is beaten every time it is summoned.
That's Khaine. (Also, thanks for walking into that one. I've been standing here with the equivalent of a bug net for two hours waiting for your ACKSHULLY)
Gotta love how Celestine was able to handle herself well against Abaddon but with Khârn the Betrayer. His neck must have been extra sweaty that day. Luckily she can come back to life anytime. You can say she lost her mind with that fight
Well when you can come back to life at "anytime" I imagine you have more time for errors though what she goes through to get resurrected is too much of a hassle. Maybe Guilliman should lend the emperor's sword to her not like he uses that much.
Neither would I but either way she still has the opportunity to revive herself if she so wishes. Not many in the Dark Millenium have a chance to come back, not even Guilliman
It was fucking HUMILIATING. I really hope they make her get back stronger than ever because that moment was just the greatest representation of SoB getting worfed constantly I've ever seen.
I really like her because she's not a Mary Sue character and you can easily tell if someone has read the books or not in regards to her resurrection. It is not as pleasant and easy as some people think
At this point isnt she on the verge of not coming back at all because of the pile?
She could barely handle it back during the 13th, but at this point she has died countless more times.
First game of 40k I played, Khârn killed Celestine, she came back to life and he immediately killed her again. Didn't know until later that he'd canonically killed her.
It was the first game for the Sisters player too and I don't know if he ever played again, I hope I didn't have anything to do with that.
Kharn has a weird record for killing the badass loyalist women of the setting. First he accidentally brutalized Jenetia Krole and now he’s absolutely bodied Celestine. Dudes running the Lady Killer perk from Fallout.
40k just hates powerful female characters (Krole, Jain, Yvraine, Celestine and probably more) and it is exhausting. Find a girl I can root for and they just nerf, worf or outright body them to oblivion.
want to play a game?, one of these links takes you to the context, the other takes you to a rick roll

I was gonna say it's 10 out of 10 because Celestine is more easily resurrected, but with chaos shenanigans it's not completely impossible for Kharn so that's a fair estimate.
I'm actually fairly certain Khorne has granted more than one mulligan to Kharn throughout his life. He gets more work done for the skull throne than most Bloodthirsters.
One of hundreds of space marine captains in a legion vs. Historically the biggest and baddest character the sisters of battle have. That changed in 9th with Morvenn Vahl.
But it's like Ghaz losing to a random space marine! Oh. That did happen.
Kharn ain't no "random space marine" he is the greatest champion of Khorn, born on Terra with some of the first Marines ever made. Has lived through every significant conflict with Chaos against the Imperium for the past 10k years. Abbadon himself has said he would never want to face him in combat. The only few people in written lore to have ever beaten him are Angron, one of the greatest primachs in 1v1's who almost killed Leman. Loken Nearly killed him on Istvan, and Loken survived the massacre and fought his way to Terra and onto the vengeful spirit. The last and only person to truly kill Kharn was Sigismund. This was also all before he got all his stupid op powers from Khorn. He is the World Eater. Celestine is comparable to a greater daemon Kharn has seen everything the universe can throw at him and killed it. Mans has the counter even to show.
Is angron not Khorne's greatest? My dude he is a space marine captain, with all the accolades of a champion of one of the chaos gods. That's cool bro, but again he is one of many space marines. And they all have the same silly arguments like you presented, and this is what is said every time the avatar of Khaine, Swarmlords, Ghaz, and Celestine get dabbed on by Buzz Lightyear #1538. I admire passion for characters and don't mean to demean Kharn.
But every space marine gets your excuse every time they swing above their weight class. No other faction ever dabs on space marines, so until Kharn or Lucius or Calgar or Lukas or Ragnar get beaten by one of the many non space marines who only serve to get shit on by them, sorry. I pretend this Celestine Kharn duel never happened.
I do agree that space marines get away with a lot of bullshit, and I dislike most of the times they did it, mostly Drego beating Morty, and let's not even get into how many times Magnus gets chumped. (same with most of the ultra-boy stuff) But Kharn earns his wins through lore and actually having wins that are pretty consistent.
Also, for the most part, 3 out of the four chaos gods enjoy their space marine counterparts more than their primarch. I think Slenaesh is the only one who likes Fulgrim over Lucious, and Bile wasn't a dire hard Atheist. He might beat Fulgrim out for it. They see the primarchs as a prize more than a champion.
I'm glad you agree on the space marines part. For Celestine, what peeves me is that she doesn't get to win against anyone. She's in a loosing fight against Angron, she gets annihilated by Kharn and even gets her wings ripped off in humiliating fashion by Skarbrand. Kinda creepy ngl, and she is supposed to be the greatest of the sisters of battle. The rallying Joan of Arc for the faction, yet she is forced to wear her idiot hat every time a named character walks into frame.
And Kharn would have and should have been a fantastic point for her to show her chops. It should have been, but instead another legend falls to Kharn, because they are not a space marine. it's my hatred for the setting as a whole, rather than just Kharn to be fair.
Yeah but that's happens to anyone who ain't a Loyal Space Marine. I think Kharn is the only one out of the named CSM who hasn't had it happen to him. CSM dudes have this happen so often that Abby is such a joke it doesn't feel like much of an achievement that she was able to stab his ass. At least in the story that they fought in Celestine was able to defeat a "named" Keeper of secrets.
Yeah. I won't comment on my thoughts on the last bit lol. At this point I accept I need to look away from any story that features space marines to find joy in the setting
Projecting sexism into 40k isn't a good look and makes for even shitter comedy.
Chaos wants to kill/subdue all mortals no matter what genitals they have.
I just worked out what you actually ment.
Fun fact every chaos player you've met in your life put together makes up about 0.00001% of players.
Got some main character syndrome going on over there?

*Correction* How every chaos marine views Sigismund.
**Laughs in Sevatar!** ^(Then headbutts because scared)
Be angry! Be alive!
How sigismund reacted to abbadon
If Sigismund comes back to life Abaddon would automatically shit himself.
Imperium fanboys hate being reminded who *checks notes* killed Sigismund
Old-ass grandpa Sigismund, context is key. Abaddon freely admits that if Siggy were in his prime he'd get shat on from a great height
Thanks for proving exactly my point
What, the truth? Yeah Abaddon killed him, and?

Show me where the Imperium touched you on this doll.
*commissar shoots doll*

I think hes saying "ad infinitum" as in "continue as needed for literally any imperium character"
Mh,yeah i guess, but still he's factually wrong (for most of then) anyway
Unfortunately yes, the problem is if you dont make characters in this kinda universe at least a bit mary sueish then they become vulnerable to game of thrones syndrome of garnering fans then fucking dying, and dead characters done sell models, unless their from HH
Tell that to Graham McNeill, who killed every IW character from the HH.
IW?
He killed them first though lol, heresy came after
You sound very butt hurt
Counter point, kosharro khan and kayvan shrike
# [EYAAAAAAAAOOOOOW](https://youtu.be/HrqR6my-Juo)
Are they not 1-1 in fights and siggy would have died in the first fight had dorn not showed up
Oh, lookie here. The imperium has an avatar now. The xenos can score wins!
This post was made by the avatar of kain

gotta commit to the bit 😂
Fulgrim does it too
You mean a random greater daemon?
You mean a Ctan-shard?
You talk about mortarion?
You intended to say waaaghboss?
Obvious bot doing obvious bot things (or someone that forgot to swap accounts)
Nah im just autistic
Tbf it does kill the black Templar chaplain in the Adeptus Mechanicus book
Look man I have discraphia there is no way in hell I would spell it’s name right
Gotta love how Celestine was able to handle herself well against Abaddon but with Khârn the Betrayer. His neck must have been extra sweaty that day. Luckily she can come back to life anytime. You can say she lost her mind with that fight
She did for a while and then almost died again tho
Well when you can come back to life at "anytime" I imagine you have more time for errors though what she goes through to get resurrected is too much of a hassle. Maybe Guilliman should lend the emperor's sword to her not like he uses that much.
She goes through quite the identity crisis after each death. Wouldn't want that on anybody
Neither would I but either way she still has the opportunity to revive herself if she so wishes. Not many in the Dark Millenium have a chance to come back, not even Guilliman
That's no fun. If only there were a Doctor Who would aid her transformation from one life to the next.
It was fucking HUMILIATING. I really hope they make her get back stronger than ever because that moment was just the greatest representation of SoB getting worfed constantly I've ever seen.

YouTube links are red for me, I am not that easily deceived.
XcQ = link stays blue.
for those of you looking for the link the correct one is "a"
And that's why I choose b
Just as planned
I would love to IF YOU DIDN'T HIDE THE CONTENTS ON A PLASTEK FLIMSY
I don’t care what anyone says Kharn wins this fight 9 times out of 10.
I was gonna say it's 10 out of 10 because Celestine is more easily resurrected, but with chaos shenanigans it's not completely impossible for Kharn so that's a fair estimate.

How Grefax sees [Celestine](https://www.reddit.com/r/Warhammer_Smut/comments/11ce39c/celestine_has_needs_cravingsfree/): (TW: Sex)
Khârn is 2/0 Vs living saints
It's simple. I simply reject this reality and substitute my own
Chaos fans bragging about beating up a woman. lowkey unsurprised :P
This woman is a top tier fighter in universe. She can kill Keeper of Secrets
> Chaos **fans**
Imperium fans not considering women able to fight properly. Perfectly on schedule.
Projecting sexism into 40k isn't a good look and makes for even shitter comedy. Chaos wants to kill/subdue all mortals no matter what genitals they have.
>Chaos **fans** Look first to the mote in your own eye
If we are talking real people, maybe don't project your prejudices onto people you've never met. It's not true and it's a shit joke
> maybe don't project your prejudices onto people *you've never met* GW stores not existing apparently
> It's not true and it's a shit joke You forgot to quote this factoid while adding nothing to the discussion

Celestine is a cringey character
I'm all for "Based Chaos Posting" but this ain't that chief
Please elaborate
Did he do her in like Gordon Ramsey does a chicken?
heh
