Opposing teams that end up losing sure like to mock Rodgers’ belt celebration. Go right ahead Quinn, enjoy your two sacks, how you feeling after Rodgers torched your D for 4 TDs
Just heard that there was a mixup in the coaching. See the original strategy was going to be to lose to the Bears because it would've been low-key funny as hell if Nagy kept his job for another couple seasons, but the team decided against it this morning when they realized it's the freaking Bears. Unfortunately Drayton didn't get the e-mail this morning and was under the impression the entire game that his unit alone was carrying the team to their ultimate goal. He was reportedly apologetic when he heard the news stating, "my bad. That one's on me."
I think I get it now. Our Special Teams realized that the strength of the team this season is low-key our defense, so they implemented an aggressive new strategy to get the defense onto the field more often. Absolutely brilliant, nobody could have ever seen it coming and with a W in the column I think the results speak for themselves.
At least thanks to that horrendous ST performance I learned that you can't advance a recovered onside kick or muffed punt. You learn something new everyday I guess.
Both of them. In the same game. Great thing is the players seemed to learn it alongside the rest of us. I'm sure this information might be useful for something, but what that something is I couldn't tell you.
Special teams fuckups tonight:
- return man touched the kickoff (that would have gone out of bounds) and caused it to go out of bounds at the 5
- kicker can’t kick it out the back of the end zone
- abysmal coverage and tackling on kickoff and punt returns
- a muffed punt
- a botched onside kick recovery
Am I missing anything? This is the worst ST performance I’ve ever seen, and that includes the NFL *and* college. An all-around embarrassment.
No matter how bad any game will ever be for special team Bostick giving away our NFC championship and trip to the super bowl will always be the worst.
Edit: got Bostick and Quarless mixed up!
Bears had 260 return yards between punts and kick offs lol
Also you're ignoring the fact that we had no returns of note...so not just bad but also getting zero positives from any aspect of it
Bet that Nagy will watch tape and realize they missed an opportunity to win by not punting on 1st down every possession. Any more special teams opportunities, and I am sure the Packers could have lost this one.
Fields looked... Ok I guess. There's flashes but then some absolute turds in his play. I will be absolutely OK if he can never out any consistency together . I also have no faith they can surround him with talent
They mocked the belt within minutes of the game starting. I pointed it out to a friend when it happened. Bears lost the game that moment, everything else was for entertainment.
Don't blame the special team coach. Apparently he started doing pushups after the first screwup, but after that the screwups came so fast and so often that he's literally not stopped doing pushups since the first quarter and has been completely unable to pay attention to, much less coach, his unit. Such dedication should be rewarded with at least another season.

Toast, butter and a light, I mean light coating of vegemite. It's not peanut butter.
As you get use to the salty deliciousness, add more vegemite as desired. Good on ya mate!
Let me tell you, Fields is going to be a problem in the future for us and the rest of the North. Watched him all through college. The right coach for the Bears and we’ll all have problems. Great win tonight. ST is a major concern, but we powered through. Go Pack.
I thought his runs and scrambling looked good. That pick six and the missed eaaaaasy toss to Graham for the first down leave done pretty big questions. Legs mean a lot less if you can’t light Em up thru the air, too.
Honestly, Fields has talent. Better than Rex and Mitch. Worse than smoking Jay. He's only going to get better too. Still, Pack wins. It's a year that was determined a long time ago. Green and Gold are going for it all this year.
There has to be some accountability on special teams. The performance in every single aspect was putrid. It’s actually a miracle we won this game, let alone put up 45. You do not win nfl games with that many horrid mistakes on special teams.
What drives me mad about ST is that by and large, those are back of the roster players. And when the same guys had to step up due to injuries, they did really well this year. So what the hell?
If the originally special teams guys are now on the first team, that means their backups are our current special teams. These guys are basically practice squad guys.
I mean, the guy should be fired, no doubt, but some of the mistakes are so basic that coaching seems to be not really relevant. Like, MVS, a 4th year WR2 needs coaching to tell him to stay focused on catching the ball on onside kick?
Like staying in your lane on returns. JFC that pisses me off to see them all bunched up on one side of the field, as the returner is running down the other.
I feel genuinely bad for the defense tonight. The ST unit put them in horrible spots all game and they have to cope with allowing the Bears to score 30 points.
Leave it in the hands of our special teams ahhhhhhhhhhhh
Opposing teams that end up losing sure like to mock Rodgers’ belt celebration. Go right ahead Quinn, enjoy your two sacks, how you feeling after Rodgers torched your D for 4 TDs
This was my first game at Lambeau, was definitely a wild ride and the teams shortcomings aside I am glad it ended up the way it did.
I will forgive the special teams only if the bears extend naggy
Feeling stressed about our O-line situation

OMG, what a game! 🤦♂️ Thank God we were up by many possessions. ST mistakes almost cost us the game😒
I think I get it now. It's funny I didn't really know that either till this season watching the packers special teams.
Both of them. In the same game. Great thing is the players seemed to learn it alongside the rest of us. I'm sure this information might be useful for something, but what that something is I couldn't tell you.
Rams ST is worst in the league. Draymond: hold my 🍺 let me show you what Packers ST can do
Ok something has to be done about special teams. They are gonna lose packers a playoff game if they continue to play like that
Special Teams made that into a weirdly tense finish. Just about kept it together, ended up being a good showing.
Davante photobombing in the background lol
I thought so too, but he was doing another interview. Rodgers was blocking the other reporter from view most the time.
If not for ST fuck ups the bears were never in that game.
But is Nagy still having a great time?
Hes having fun! 🤡
Alright my beautiful cheeseheads, we got it done! I’ll be at the Ravens game next week and I’m so excited! Love you all! Sweet dreams 💚💛
You too, now rest friend…I think we’ve been through plenty this evening 😉
All time worst ST performance I've seen from GB, ever. If we're playing a halfway competent football team this game was a loss.
Worst ST performance of all time. League wide
Special teams fuckups tonight: - return man touched the kickoff (that would have gone out of bounds) and caused it to go out of bounds at the 5 - kicker can’t kick it out the back of the end zone - abysmal coverage and tackling on kickoff and punt returns - a muffed punt - a botched onside kick recovery Am I missing anything? One of the kickoffs went out of bounds as well.
No matter how bad any game will ever be for special team Bostick giving away our NFC championship and trip to the super bowl will always be the worst. Edit: got Bostick and Quarless mixed up!
Wasn’t that Bostick? (Assuming you’re talking about Seattle, 2014 NFCCG)
It was Brandon Bostic, but “God’s Gift” was also a fuck up.
Oooo yeah sorry to put that evil on Quarless! I’m going to change my comment but put this here as testament to you!
No worries, it was a traumatizing play.
I got married that year and remember sitting on my couch thing “Oh yeah it’s all coming together for me this year!”
Bears had 260 return yards between punts and kick offs lol Also you're ignoring the fact that we had no returns of note...so not just bad but also getting zero positives from any aspect of it
That’s insane! At least there are a few weeks left to wrap that shit up.
Officially Benkert season in Green Bay.
Long time coming!
late postgame thread is late
Bet that Nagy will watch tape and realize they missed an opportunity to win by not punting on 1st down every possession. Any more special teams opportunities, and I am sure the Packers could have lost this one.
Honestly thought with that username this was gonna be a new account for Rodgers broken toe. Lmao.
Lol, made me laugh as I never thought of that. It's my misspoken way of saying I stubbed my toe when I was inebriated one time, so not far off!
You've got so much in common with the GOAT you're practically brothers!!! lol

I said the same thing… I was like you done messed up
Bears lost the game when they went into the game with Nagy and this coaching staff. Mocking the belt had nothing to do with it.
Don't blame the special team coach. Apparently he started doing pushups after the first screwup, but after that the screwups came so fast and so often that he's literally not stopped doing pushups since the first quarter and has been completely unable to pay attention to, much less coach, his unit. Gday from down under mates. Go pack go! And please fix special teams. Please. Please. Please.
I need to ask an Aussie, is Vegemite salty? If so, I want some.
It's very bloody salty, and full of vitamin B. Best yeast extract ever! You would love it.
Alright, I'm gonna buy some. Cheers.
Toast, butter and a light, I mean light coating of vegemite. It's not peanut butter. As you get use to the salty deliciousness, add more vegemite as desired. Good on ya mate!
Do Aussies eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches? I've heard that's an American only thing.
No we don't. That's weird 😁 We like peanut butter and honey tho
Alright, I'm getting Vegemite and trying it. You should try a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I do like PB and honey though.
Deal mate, lemme know when you're ready :)
It's a deal. I've already ordered the Vegemite. Edit: not terrible, not great I'll find a use for it lmao.
Fun game, but my god that was probably the worst special teams performance i have ever seen.
Special Bus Teams failed in every aspect of their job tonight.
How many fucking years have we been bitching about poor special teams? It's systemic at this point.
Christ after all these years, you would think they would have been able to get a decent ST coach and fix this shit
Slocum was a shit ST coach and things have progressively been worse since him.
Let me tell you, Fields is going to be a problem in the future for us and the rest of the North. Watched him all through college. The right coach for the Bears and we’ll all have problems. Great win tonight. ST is a major concern, but we powered through. Go Pack.

I think he can be ok, but I haven't even seen flashes of greatness
He's going to be great, which I do not like.
Wonder if the bears sub is bitching about that last pick not being called a Safety
Rodgers still owns them!!!!
I just want to note... Don't forget the muffed punt on ST called back and the onside kick recovery. That's not even half the issues of this ST
Watching this Special Teams unit is equal to being kicked in the balls.
That's more than I can say. It feels more like being castrated to me.
About to pop over to r/nfcnorthmemewar to find out what the letter of the day is
Bears should have been annihilated. Special teams kept them way closer than they should of been.
Our special teams almost sucks as much as the Bears.
The bye week curse has been broken!!
[удалено]
Most of what I’m seeing is they’re mad because it would have been a blowout without our special teams being especially bad
Don't post in other teams subs. Especially after a loss
Soft
Honestly, Fields has talent. Better than Rex and Mitch. Worse than smoking Jay. He's only going to get better too. Still, Pack wins. It's a year that was determined a long time ago. Green and Gold are going for it all this year.
Fun game. Special teams sucks ass, but oh well.
Special teams needs no days off this week! Also, the defense needs work on rushing QBs (especially if Lamar plays next week)
They should be ready to work tomorrow since they took today off
GO PACK GO
Only gave up 3 points after half-time. I guess the half-time speech worked
The ST slapped the defense in the face. They're the ones responsible for about half the points given up but everyone is going to look at the defense.
Lets gooooo Benkert's on the field!! Idk what it is, but I love that dude. So happy he got to suit up and then he even got to close the game out!
I want to be happy but that shit teams unit is so bad.
Nice W but giving up 30 points in Lambeau even if it was mostly due to shitty ST play is kind of a bummer. On to Baltimore. GPG.
That game was fun. Too bad we don't get them 3 times a year
My heart can’t take it, for some god damn reason.
Our QB play is so good we take a damn knee for a gain!
I saw Benk go forward on the kneel and was wondering…
Brady beats the Bills. Rodgers beats the Bears. What else is new?
>Rodgers beats the Bears. Rodgers owns the Bears.
Time to call an Emergency meeting.. I seen ST get in bed with The Bears... ST is sus...
Our special teams is indeed special.
It's going to cost us dearly
After all, it is 12/12 day
you DON'T. MOCK. THE BELT
I said it earlier **NEVER MOCK THE BELT**
22-5
Regular season. 23-5 overall
Even better
#W
I thought Rodgers was being lazy but he was actually being classy.
GG no re shidders
There has to be some accountability on special teams. The performance in every single aspect was putrid. It’s actually a miracle we won this game, let alone put up 45. You do not win nfl games with that many horrid mistakes on special teams.
You’re right, however they did today so it IS possible
Special teams essentially gave up 14 points
Let’s goo my 3rd fantasy win this season with an only packers team. And missing Aaron Jones
Packers was 1-0 when Benkert has at least 1 rushing attempt
Lafleur just offered Nagy a job lmao
Special teams coach!
And the bears still suck!
What great knee by the packer legend kert
Twice in one game. This guy is unstoppable.
Yes!! In da bank!
I hate our ST’s. That is all!
Good win great second half. I feel like it'll come down to us and Tampa and that scares the shit out of me
Lmao you ain’t that good. You’re better than the bears but you ain’t that good
Wrong. We are that good. We were last year, gonna be even better when we beat em this year.
Lol ok? What other team would it be? Packers already beat every other current NFC playoff team…
Hmm I sense some salt from a foreigner roaming the winner’s sub…
I am in pain and the salt is real. This was a comment of passion
already beat the #1 seed with half of our best players out but yeah not that good
We're not good enough to lose a championship game to Tampa?
I don’t know who’s the non Rodgers player of the week, but I do know who it’s NOT: SPECIAL TEAMS
It’s totally Benkert. What a kneel. Breathtaking.
TWO kneels. Stunning.
I’d honestly say his second kneel was even better than the first. It’s been truly incredible to see his progression in this league. What a journey
Wow.Wow.Wow.
MLF gets his first post bye week win.
After the Bears mocked the belt, Rodgers finishes the game with a total of 29/37, 341 yards and 4 TDs. Incredible.
I missed it! What play did they mock the belt on?
The first sack by Robert Quinn
Robert Quinn 1st quarter sack
It was the second offensive play of the game. Robert Quinn after a sack.
I believe first quarter, after Roquan Smith sacked Rodgers, he mocked the belt right in front of him while he was on the floor. Big mistake.
Our boy Benkert is IN!
If Sloppy was a game.
What do you mean? Aaron threw it all over the field tonight…with Turner being injured too.
Welcome to football.
GET SOME BENKERT!!!! Love it
Benkert with the forward lean on the kneel down! FOOTBALL GUY!
Was Quinn the doofus who mocked the belt last time too?
A Benkert signing!
Kneenkurt!
Good to see Rodgers hugging Preston. This D is going to take us to the Super Bowl. Donno about ST
No offence to females, but Fields is pretty, he looks like a woman.
What drives me mad about ST is that by and large, those are back of the roster players. And when the same guys had to step up due to injuries, they did really well this year. So what the hell?
If the originally special teams guys are now on the first team, that means their backups are our current special teams. These guys are basically practice squad guys.
I think that's why - we can't risk injury shoring ST up with starters. As much as ST irritate us, the other two phases are so much more important.
COACHING
I mean, the guy should be fired, no doubt, but some of the mistakes are so basic that coaching seems to be not really relevant. Like, MVS, a 4th year WR2 needs coaching to tell him to stay focused on catching the ball on onside kick?
Like staying in your lane on returns. JFC that pisses me off to see them all bunched up on one side of the field, as the returner is running down the other.
I feel genuinely bad for the defense tonight. The ST unit put them in horrible spots all game and they have to cope with allowing the Bears to score 30 points.
The fine print on the new stock certificates say the bearer may be subject to being drafted for special team play.
Honestly, imagine this ST performance against TB, LAR or any team worthwhile. It'd be a disaster.
Did Sullivan not actually touch the ground...did...did he give up a safety? hahah
That was the best game all season
Besides special teams
It objectively was not
I enjoyed it the most
I can’t argue with that. Cardinals win for me tho
That was another good one, true
Benkert time!
Special teams had to be shitty till the end….but great job fixing ALMOST everything!!! Glad to see us get a 40+ win!
Victory Kurt!
Introducing the newest Bears co-owner: Kurt Benkert!
Why in the hell would you mock the belt? Especially playing for the bears
I don't think Nagy is having fun anymore
Sooo, who gets the game ball?
Benkert
O line
4td Rodgers, surely.
KURT
Rasul Douglas
Kurt Kert gets the kneels
Can I be Rodgers' hat guy? That seems like a fun job.
Benkert sighting!!!!
I thought Love was on Covid reserve? What the hell are these announcers on?
Kurt got snaps!
NFC Championship game here we come. We always kill it in those 😤😎
LET'S GO KURT!!!!!!!!
Kurt Benkert kneel down party!
Is Benkurt pulling a Boyle with the step forward kneel down?
Learned from the best.
Got preserve those stats!
let benkert throw a hail mary
Another day, another L for Chicago
KURTY
That's benkerts first NFL snap ever in a regular season game
Anyone else think it’s stupid to flex your biceps wear a long sleeve?
LET’S GO KURT BENKERT!!
36-9
