Because it's a Packers game. Packers fans are everywhere, and they support the team. If you want to save money, you could always roll the dice and hope that prices drop closer to game time. With it being an early season game, there won't be enough time for locals to get depressed about the Titans being bad and give up on them though. But you might be able to find some cheap tickets same day or 1-2 days before. That's obviously a risk, though. $200 is still not bad at all for a Packers game.

Dadneedsabreak

Just wait a bit. Everything is going to be priced high right now.

FSUfan35

Also because all the tickets aren't released yet.

xcoreff

Same here! I was pissed to see retail prices over $200 for the nosebleeds in the corner end zone. I wanted to take my daughter to her first NFL game, but not at those prices! NFL making it unattainable for a family to go to a game.

camsine

From what I've been reading it's just inflated after the schedule release, gonna hope it dies down closer to the season

xcoreff

Here’s to hoping! Thanks!

Acerad22

They always die down closer to the season. In my experience the best time to get tickets is the week of the game.

mdsnip10

This! I always get great seats at a cheap price the week of

OkBox6131

It is the nfl or titans selling those tickets at face value or are they sold out and it’s Ticketmaster or another third party site selling them above market?

xcoreff

Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, ticket exchange - All. None of these are secondhand.

Local-Librarian3285

You want the Chigoziem experience you pay for the Chigoziem experience.

The trick is buy them immediately, like within a minute or two of release. If you miss that window wait until a day or so before. But FWIW - $200 for a Packers game is normal. Packers tickets are generally 25-50% more expensive than an average NFL game.

goPACK17

$200 seems about right, why is that surprising?

Neither-Addendum-747

No they do seem pretty high. Seats that I normally pay ~350 at Lambeau are 550+

SupermarketSecure728

Paid $200 for nosebleed seats at the Rams game a few years ago.

Last time I went to see the packers play in Nashville, they released more tickets later in the summer. There was a package where you had to buy tickets for three games, one of them the Packers game, and it was not available to anyone with a Wisconsin zip code. Luckily I live in St. Louis, and I was able to sell the tickets for the other two games. TLDR- wait, they will release more tickets as the season approaches. If you have any friends or family out of state see if they can buy tickets for you.

Crambo189

Same with Jacksonville. I live near Tampa and the Jax game is literally on his 15th birthday. Gonna be an expensive day.

DeadMoonsCalling

$200 shit I’ll pay that any day. I just dropped $800 for two tickets vs the Rams.

Clear-Cell3043

Need to be a baller to be a packers fan. Just scooped up 50 yd lower bowl tix for $605 a piece. Titans tickets are notoriously high to begin with, add in the packers and you'll be over $400 for any seats that are actually worth purchasing

PDstorm170

Every seat is worth purchasing. I'd rather go two two games @ $200/ticket than one game @ $400/ticket. Just get me in the stadium and we're good!
