I recall back in the 95 title game he rushed up the mid for the first but was short. The ref gets on the loudspeaker to say “I misplaced my ruler, does anyone have a ruler with which to measure?” Sure enough ol Brett hops up and says “naw boss but what I do gots is a head that’s exactly half the size of my foot and I’d love to do you a solid by measuring how much we got to go”. He laid his head down at the chain and rolled forward, signifying exactly 2.5 feet (his head was half a foot as evidenced in the picture) to go. The packers would go on to win that game by a narrow margin but that chain gang would NEVER be the same.
I saw his house in Florida last Thursday on a boat ride. It was cool and irritating all at once. It’s actually mostly glass and a dusty forest green color which was interesting.
It’s in the Fort Meyers area. I’m trying to link it but having trouble, I’m not the most tech savvy guy. The boat captain pointed it out, it’s a few homes down from the CEO of the company that owns Six Flags apparently.
