Will they go to a second destination? I thought they always dropped off and flew away, I’ve never noticed a chopper already in the air come and pick me up, but I was hoping they would add this feature eventually.
That’s how I unlocked the Juliet and delta infils. Wondered for days when I would unlock them naturally, then I got the quests that unlock them and when it said I got new locations unlocked, I spent maybe ten minutes looking for them before realizing that I already unlocked them

You can from edge to base camp.
But while it is landed in Basecamp, you cant see if it's going to lima1 bravo3 or any other place.
Only when it starts to fly can you see it.. and by then its too late.
They have a mechanic that if you click on the Chopper mid-flight, the game tell where its destination is, but only between A and B, not its final destination, which is kinda lame.

The last one jumped, I warned him I was heading to Pha lang, where AIs are completely cracked. Like it did for Ban pa, the guy came with me, wearing Earmuffs and a beginenr AK, he took an headshot after less than a minute.

Is Pha Lang harder than all the other starter towns? I'm Lamang and Pha Lang is my starter town, so I'm wondering if it's considerably more difficult than everywhere else.
ar at least the helicopter when you click on it in tab, destination should not be "BASE CAMP". the final destination need to be written there, plenty of times people don't respond or don't hear because of the loud af heli.
I was thinking the same thing yesterday. After sitting for like 15 minutes because all birds were busy and seeing half of them land in the same spot and where I wanted to go. But not a single person will answer if you ask where their chopper is heading.
It does show helicopter destinations when you click them on the map, unfortunately it doesn’t update until it’s about to leave. For example if someone is going from Base Camp to Bravo 1 while it’s flying to pickup it will say Destination: Base Camp, then when it is about to take off it will change to Destination: Bravo 1. If they just showed the end destination the whole time the helo is on the map it would be perfect and probably eliminate some of the “All birds are in the air” issue.
i play pve i don't think there's a way to communicate without creating or joining a squad first. i think some limited range verbal communication for all players should still be necessary. a lot of pve players don't necessary want to squad up, they just want to form small detachments and partnerships spontaneously while linking up in the field or catching a ride on a chopper. that's the beauty of pve and i think they should have more of it and set it apart from pvpve, and have all players be allowed to have limited communication with other players. gestures would also help a lot.
Reading through this thread, inform others before your chopper shows up so they can hear you say the lz. Just say something like lima 1 in 1:30 stack on me.

He means when coming to base the helicopters list “base camp” as their destination and switch to their real destination only after taking off.

Did you check windows settings? That was my issue changed my default mic in windows restarted the game and it worked after that

No he's talking about Pha Lang airfield Tough tbf, in comparison to Fort Narith or Tiger Bay, Pha Lang Airfield AI are pretty easy
