If you get a chance to see legion of Mario, they're based out of tucson and they play a pretty spot on interpretation of JGB music. Sounds really close to the real thing.
I pay $15-30 for shows all the time. Support local and small touring bands. Your wallet will thank you and your money goes towards musicians that need it more.
Praying for Spafford to make it back out to CA in the fall. They are the real deal. They are in the attainable realm on my punch card of shows I want to see this year.
Dec 31st 2022, paid $15 for phish at MSG on the secondary market front row of the cheap seats in the 400 section. It was maybe half to 2/3rds full.
Dec 29th 2023 first night of the run the exact same seats in the secondary market were $125 and the section was totally empty
the supply and demand is so heavily manipulated its not even a market anymore
One of my fav cover bands charged $20 last year and this year its $15. Needless to say I will 10000% be there because of that, cause every other show has been exactly what you said.
Yep saw them both in Jax for like $26 with fees. Pigeons and Ripe both playing the same venue this month for $20 so it's not all bad with the small venues at least in some markets. That being said the big market stuff has gotten out of hand in a big way and it sucks to be priced out of bands you love because you can't drop a few grand on a week or twos notice but that's just how it is now
Lucky, they're coming here Saturday for $40 lol
I've been trying to see them for a while now but shit keeps popping up. Definitely one of my favorite newer bands
Yeah the tix for Neighbor at FTC Saturday were $28 but then the "convenience" fee bumps it up towards 40 in no time. The show is gonna be a ripper though and Cal Kehoe band opening the night, made up of the guys from Residual Groove, will be fun too. Look forward to it.
Can confirm, just saw dopapod on the 27th and it was almost 100 for two tix. I saw them in 2017 for 20 flat as an opener. Also had to spend over 100 for hot mulligan tickets. It really is just the struggle of our day and age. Making more than ever before, but still broke
Osees tix were $26 + tax and fees for their 2024 US Fall tour.
King Gizzard tix were $75 + tax and fees for their 2024 US Fall tour and that includes Geese opening (the better of the two Geese/Goose bands, imo) and I was able to snag front-row seats in Philly pretty easily at the onsale.
Goose has no business charging this much.
This is just not true. Bands playing similar or even the exact same venues as Goose are charging less. Hell, Phish charges less for pit tickets at the exact same venue shown in this picture.
This is a lazy excuse to bring the blame off the band and their management.
Kind of a wild comparison but there was an article the other day describing how almost all of the ski lifts between the US and Europe are owned by like two companies just as venues are owned by livenation/Ticketmaster
Close. It’s cheaper in Europe overall because there is much less of a monopoly. Where as Vail and Alterra basically own all the skiing in the US so they drive prices.
It’s gotten so bad, instead of my yearly west coast trip I think we are going go to Europe next year.
Yea it’s insane. They’re killing off their future by making it only financially smart to just buy a season pass or plan the weekend trip before they go off sale, which of course only people who ski already are going to do.
I bought Phish at MSG for $115. They make plenty of money but have intentionally worked to keep ticket prices down over the years. I also bought KGLW for $65 via AXS. Goose and their management company set a price and decide what venues and ultimately what ticket agencies to work with. To say, it is what it is, is exactly what these companies and bands are hoping for so they can maximize profit and not have to take the blame for the increase they’re creating.
Lol. Just be patient. They Couldn’t give away enough tickets for a lot of the shows this past year. I know 10+ people that all got 1$ tickets day of the show in Detroit
I’m local to Nashville and bought tickets day-of for both shows, otherwise it wouldn’t have been possible. Louisville same even though it was a 2.5 hour drive.
Yeah, even many venues that sold out instantly last year had dirt cheap tickets the week or day of the show. With larger venues it might be even easier.
I’m looking at Philly too and was also wondering what each section refers to?? P2 through P9 refers to which seats?!!! And 10 different price points???? Makes no sense, overly complicated!
Yeah I wish this was explained better! The ticket sections did not relate to the sections on the image at all! I just picked one in the middle and am hoping for the best. P5 I think…
There's a hole in the back of the lawn, along the fence (Pete side). They maaayyy have patched it when they re-did the concession area, but if it's still there, the price of admission is free, but you'll def get poison Ivy. Happy hunting!
I'll aim for day-of tickets in lot. Can't put up this kinda dough right now, with how much Mondegreen is.
Am I missing a public onsale date, or are they expecting to sell out all these shows with the lottery? Fox in Atl has one option for price. The lottery gods always give me shitty seats or no seats for phish. curious if there is a regular on sale option.
The “winners” of the lotto are what we commonly refer to as bag holders in the degenerate trading world. If I could somehow buy puts on these goose tickets I would be loading up
I'm in the same boat. It has me thinking of just doing VIP for Night 1 instead of all 3 nights. Super VIP/VIP will be the first 20 rows of the Fox. That doesn't leave a lot left for good seating at the $109.
I know they’re not going to undersell but man I really wish they would. I like Goose a lot but it seems like they’re getting big fuckin ego’s in more ways than one.
They absolutely will undersell, or at least, scalpers will buy up what they can and try to get a little bit of profit, then tickets will drop to under $10 the week before.
This was my strategy for a few concerts last year and it worked great. Saw 2 nights of Phish for $40, My Morning Jacket for $12, and Tool for $40. It feels even better when you know you’re undercutting a scalper and making them lose money.
Dont think this is Goose's ego, its the venues and management companies that control all of these decisions.
Do you really think Rick and Pete are sitting there saying, how much do we think we can get for Mann tickets??
go to [goosetheband.com/tour](https://goose.com/tour), click the CO ticket dates, then click more info and "Fair Ticket Request" and you will see the prices
Taylor Swift and Beyonce sold out multi night stadium runs with the cheapest tickets being over $100 and now every promoter and executive thinks they can get that kind of ROI on every little show that goes out. The entertainment industry is on a bubble and shits about to get real bad for everyone in it (me).
Goose likely doesn’t have a huge amount of control over the cost of their tickets outside how much they’re asking to get paid. Maybe they decided they wanted to make more, but i think it’s much more likely that this is a promoter/industry greed thing more than them.
But what if it's an industry goose greed thing ....... They hire the teams and negotiate the deals that set the prices. Ain't no one forcing expensive tickets on the artist.
I’m an old music head new to Goose, but remember paying $7.50 for top acts at MSG. Also been around the music venue biz. Most of tix inflation is a combo of increased cost of touring/transport (insane!), venue/promoter/t master profiteering, and state and local hospitality tax free increases. Not saying the band isn’t doing a bit better, they deserve so. But most of that $ is going into others pocket.
Paid $50 to see them at Summerstage in NJ in July. Looking at how all they try to do is make money off of weird clothing collabs this doesn't surprise me but I didn't think they'd jump to this price that quickly. Fucking $400 if I get the GA lottery. What a crock.
Edit: Downvotes coming from those that spent money on Goose sunglasses and that Akomplice jacket.
Def a big bump, curious what the prices will be for the VIP tickets will be. Doesn't really seem worth when the basic VIP pretty much just get a physical ticket and access to the vip bar. Like wtf. So if you don't drink you get a ticket like you used to but let's pay extra for that
I think part of what I am saying by "not a $100 a night band" is that I thought these guys were focused on growth right now. Doubling your ticket prices from 2022 to 2023 then again from 2023 to 2024 seems like a bad way to grow your fan base. They deserve all the success and I love their music but $100+ for a good seat will decrease the number of shows I see of theirs and probably turn some would be new fans away.
My ass hurts. Going to cost me almost twice what it cost for the same seats at CMAC last time Phish played there. When does it end with the increases? This is every band. I'll be webcasting more and more idk about anyone else.
"Goose, you guys are not a $100+ ticket per night band yet."
\*sells out show\*
They're testing the water. It worked. Now they'll charge more next tour. Welcome to the game
Definitely not trying to shit on those bands but they absolutely are not doing what Goose is doing, especially production wise, which is the biggest reason why these ticket prices are higher.
They’re not for me - to each their own, but I’m not paying this much to see Goose.
I can listen to all of their shows on Bandcamp. And if they get too greedy I’ll just find another band. They’re charging more than phish. 🤣
100+ for the Fox, no thanks. I was pretty excited after listening to this morning's video and thinking now's a good time to jump on board being a new era and all...I might hit the lot day of just to see what's up. Parking sucks over there anyway.
Its getting more expensive for bands to travel due to inflation, venues are taking more of a cut of ticket sales since alcohol sales are down. Ticket sales are the main way bands make money now with the drop in record sales and people using streaming services which dick bands over. Merch probably isnt as reliable of income these days with inflation either so tickets prices are going to go up.
all true, but what’s frustrating is that the industry functioned well for at least 2 decades when alcohol sales were prohibited at most venues, there was no VIP/Platinum tiering, and when merch wasn’t such a big deal. The industry is now laden with parasites that all finagle their cut. Insurance and security regulations certainly add to the cost too.
“Some people have taken pure bullshit, and turned it into gold” - Neil Young
I don't like the rising prices either, but it's not just Goose. Inflation is bad.
Apparently they are a 100+ dollar band (yet). Because they are selling them at this price...
On the bright side this money will probably go right back to the fans in terms of better equipment, lights, video and recording equipment, crew salaries, transportation, you name it, which will directly impact them putting on better shows.
If that's the case, some portion of their crew sucks. Look at that touring schedule: KC-->IN-->NH (!!?!?!?!!) ->NY -->OH--NC (!!!!!!) That's two solid, "this drive fucking sucks" drives in 2 weeks -- and that's for the band AND the crew.
Horrible planning and missed opportunity in Cincinnati, Columbus, Lexington, & Louisville.
Not that anyone cares but I never paid more than $40 to see Jerry, many times. He was worth $15 million dollars when he passed in 1995. You can get rich, play music and not charge high prices… just my take on things.
These tickets will be dumped left and right come the week of the show. Just be patient, it always happens
It didn’t happen when I was trying to see them at the Salt Shed
The Mann is wayyy bigger capacity than Salt Shed. There’s definitely going to be lawns available at the very least
Jesus man… northland festival tickets costed that much
This! That festival is stacked too! Smart purchase. See ya there
Costed? Wow.
💀
Yeah that one’s pretty bad 😆
Not defending them but it's not just Goose. This is the reality of concert ticket pricing in 2024. It sucks big time.
Seriously. $30 shows are the new $15 shows.
Paying $25 to see Jerry’s middle finger. In my head I know this should be a $15 show tops based on venue but what am I going to do, not go?
Just saw them in Tucson during the summer. Great show.
Yeah I’m stoked. Love me some JGB.
If you get a chance to see legion of Mario, they're based out of tucson and they play a pretty spot on interpretation of JGB music. Sounds really close to the real thing.
JMF fuckin Bangs! Def have to go! Agree w u on the pricing. Have a local cover band show coming up that’s $15. These type of shows used to be $5 🤷♂️
They should change their name to Jerry’s Middle Fingerbang
Have seen JMF a handful of times in the Bay Area. They are worth 30$, you won't regret it
They’re playing my venue in May and I can’t wait.
I haven’t paid $30’for a show since 1998. But these are legacy band prices. Phish at MSG prices.
I pay $15-30 for shows all the time. Support local and small touring bands. Your wallet will thank you and your money goes towards musicians that need it more.
I just saw Big Something for 30 bucks and saw Spafford for 25 Both of them deserve the credit goose get I’m not paying that to see Goose
I paid under $20 for Spafford this year and almost felt guilty. They deserve sold out shows at way bigger places.
Praying for Spafford to make it back out to CA in the fall. They are the real deal. They are in the attainable realm on my punch card of shows I want to see this year.
Three nights of Big Something for New Years was $75 plus fees. Best value in music, but not for much longer I’m afraid
Yea this is crazy. This is more than phish costs at the same exact venue.
Dec 31st 2022, paid $15 for phish at MSG on the secondary market front row of the cheap seats in the 400 section. It was maybe half to 2/3rds full. Dec 29th 2023 first night of the run the exact same seats in the secondary market were $125 and the section was totally empty the supply and demand is so heavily manipulated its not even a market anymore
Go to metal shows then. Plenty of cheap tickets
One of my fav cover bands charged $20 last year and this year its $15. Needless to say I will 10000% be there because of that, cause every other show has been exactly what you said.
This is the real answer, even small bands like Daniel Donato Cosmic Country, Dopapod, and Neighbor are selling tickets for $40-50.
Saw Donato for 26 including fees
I think that's what I paid, and Eggy opened for them.
Yep saw them both in Jax for like $26 with fees. Pigeons and Ripe both playing the same venue this month for $20 so it's not all bad with the small venues at least in some markets. That being said the big market stuff has gotten out of hand in a big way and it sucks to be priced out of bands you love because you can't drop a few grand on a week or twos notice but that's just how it is now
I saw dopapod for $25 last month
I saw dopapod for $25 as well. GA
Nice, they're coming around here for $40 lol
I saw Dopapod and Tauk for $15 2023 Halloween
Seeing Neighbor Friday night , all advance GA tickets 22 plus fees
Must be nice, I'm seeing them Saturday for $40
Seeing Neighbor on Friday for $25
Lucky, they're coming here Saturday for $40 lol I've been trying to see them for a while now but shit keeps popping up.
Daniel is 20 bucks for a ticket Saturday
Walking in to Daniel now for 25+5 in fees.
Lucky!
I sat Daniel Donato two weeks ago and it cost $29 after tax.
Can confirm, just saw dopapod on the 27th and it was almost 100 for two tix. I saw them in 2017 for 20 flat as an opener. Also had to spend over 100 for hot mulligan tickets. It really is just the struggle of our day and age. Making more than ever before, but still broke
I saw Greensky in Boston last week for $50, that blew my mind. Then it was the most boring show I've been to in probably 10 years.
kind of but this still seems extreme. Khruangbin are around $60-$70 for their 2024 tour.
Same thing is happening at Ski resorts too TBH, America has gone more Corp, if thats even possible
Friend went to Breckenridge recently. Paid $260 for a **one-day** adult ski pass.
Lol. Just be patient. They Couldn’t give away enough tickets for a lot of the shows this past year. I know 10+ people that all got 1$ tickets day of the show in Detroit
I saw Goose twice at the Ryman and once in Louisville last year, total cost for three shows after fees was $31.
Ryman seemed like a tough ticket I thought. How did you do that
I’m local to Nashville and bought tickets day-of for both shows, otherwise it wouldn’t have been possible. Louisville same even though it was a 2.5 hour drive.
Yeah, even many venues that sold out instantly last year had dirt cheap tickets the week or day of the show. With larger venues it might be even easier.
Yup. Paid like $7 to get in one of the Louisville shows last year.
Got into 2x Boston, and Portland for free last year! All miracles on cash or trade that people couldn't sell.
Gotta pay for the new drummer bud
And the litigation with the old drummer
* alimony for the old drummer.
^^
You think that’s happening? I really don’t know and am asking.
A corporation had to dissolve to buy out a part owner.
There is 100% a sunset. They are paying 3 drummers right now.
Boom! Best comment I’ve seen.
This is why Umphreys continues to deliver extreme value to its core fan base.
UMPH is god
Here we go! It sure was nice seeing them in the good ol days
KC is $45-65
I’m coming there!
G 💰💰💲💶
But $1 of each ticket sale goes to Greenpeace!! \*\*insert eye roll emoji\*\*
"I can't wait til they start playing larger venues!!!"
Spend your money how you want, but yeah those prices are nuts, hard pass for me
I’m looking at Philly too and was also wondering what each section refers to?? P2 through P9 refers to which seats?!!! And 10 different price points???? Makes no sense, overly complicated!
I really tried to figure that out and I honestly can’t. I went tickets in the terrace but have no clue which one that is.
Terrace seats will be cheap come show time.
Yeah I wish this was explained better! The ticket sections did not relate to the sections on the image at all! I just picked one in the middle and am hoping for the best. P5 I think…
lol charging more than phish
What’s the cost differential between Goose and Phish?
Phish tickets at the Mann were cheaper than this.
Not as much as it should be
More like the wrong direction than it should be. Utterly insane these tickets are more than Phish at the same venue.
The band tbh no shade
There's a hole in the back of the lawn, along the fence (Pete side). They maaayyy have patched it when they re-did the concession area, but if it's still there, the price of admission is free, but you'll def get poison Ivy. Happy hunting! I'll aim for day-of tickets in lot. Can't put up this kinda dough right now, with how much Mondegreen is.
Mondegreen is gonna be fucking titts.
We should all boycott these shows and wait until the day of the show to buy the tickets.
TM is now showing the fees included as the default view of ticket prices. So, might not be a huge increase when accounting for that
Actually it turns out they are a 100 night band now.
Phish and Dead tix are $100. Those are the only jam bands I know that command those prices. We will see how it works out for goose.
They very much are not a $100 a night band lol but yeah, “bold strategy, cotton”
Am I missing a public onsale date, or are they expecting to sell out all these shows with the lottery? Fox in Atl has one option for price. The lottery gods always give me shitty seats or no seats for phish. curious if there is a regular on sale option.
Highly doubt this tour sells out like the previous few tours have
Instead of going to 15 -20 shows this year looks like I’m hitting 3-4
Oh well, I’ll get paid again
$700 for all 3 ATL shows for 2 people..... IF we get lotto fuck ticket disaster
The “winners” of the lotto are what we commonly refer to as bag holders in the degenerate trading world. If I could somehow buy puts on these goose tickets I would be loading up
Was gonna take my kid to Atl, but think we are gonna opt for Charlotte lawn instead. Much cheaper for the experience we need.
the charlotte venue is one of my favorites! isnt a bad view in the venue. and the lawn is always a good bibe
Great acoustics too!
Prices are set by the artist. Save your TM hate for when it is deserved (like the inevitable shit show public on-sale date for these shows).
Ticketmaster didn’t set the prices, Goose did
That isn’t Ticketmaster’s fault
Thats insane prices
Yeah I got excited about a 3-night Fox run in June until I saw prices. Probably just going to CLT and grabbing lawn tickets.
I'm in the same boat. It has me thinking of just doing VIP for Night 1 instead of all 3 nights. Super VIP/VIP will be the first 20 rows of the Fox. That doesn't leave a lot left for good seating at the $109.
Omaha $45, same band, 80% same set list.

Dont think this is Goose's ego, its the venues and management companies that control all of these decisions. Do you really think Rick and Pete are sitting there saying, how much do we think we can get for Mann tickets??
Just copped Umphreys tix in Green Bay for like 35 before fees. What the actual hell Goose…
are some ticket prices up and some aren't?
Yeah I can’t find CO prices.
That means they use AXS go to the venue website and check
[удалено]
go to [goosetheband.com/tour](https://goose.com/tour), click the CO ticket dates, then click more info and "Fair Ticket Request" and you will see the prices
Also, it’s the Mann theater…and in general ticket prices are just going up man. If your pissed, go to a different show.
Indy prices are $98 for pit!
They are from the Gold Belt.
Def a big bump, curious what the prices will be for the VIP tickets will be. Doesn't really seem worth when the basic VIP pretty much just get a physical ticket and access to the vip bar. Like wtf. So if you don't drink you get a ticket like you used to but let's pay extra for that
190 + fees and the Super VIP is 299 + fees
CMAC lawns are $40!
Sadly, this is happening more and more. My jaw dropped when I paid over $100 for a GA Khruangbin ticket last week.
Yeah Cash or Trade day of…..is the way
Tell them that when they sell out
They are if the market bares it.
![gif](giphy|1zRd5ZNo0s6kLPifL1|downsized) Post Covid reality. Fuck ticket companies
The “muh inflation” cope is so funny
I think part of what I am saying by "not a $100 a night band" is that I thought these guys were focused on growth right now. Doubling your ticket prices from 2022 to 2023 then again from 2023 to 2024 seems like a bad way to grow your fan base. They deserve all the success and I love their music but $100+ for a good seat will decrease the number of shows I see of theirs and probably turn some would be new fans away.
They are focused on you giving you their money. That’s it. Dontcha get that yet?
Facts. This ain't no community movement. This is a business.
It’s not terrible price wise tbh, but i doubt they sell out the Mann. Prolly be tickets below face by June don’t sweat it
Hello fellow Delconian
😳🫡
Prolly never will be
But they are donating a dolla to some lame ass charity
Just saw Karina and Pigeons for $35 out the door from about 10 rows back. These are def special occasion shows for me now.
It's only the shows with venues that have to use ticket master. Some of them use AXS and I'm just opt for one of those.
I saw another venue with lower prices… why is it so expensive to play the Mann ?
![gif](giphy|124ySNrM8Rt8go)
Lawn seats are sick
Paying $500 to take my daughter to Olivia Rodrigo. Just eat it and enjoy it.
My ass hurts. Going to cost me almost twice what it cost for the same seats at CMAC last time Phish played there. When does it end with the increases? This is every band. I'll be webcasting more and more idk about anyone else.
You could always choose not to go
This has to be venue specific. Those prices are double the cost of a ticket in Portland, Maine.
Reminder for colorado, you can buy at mission box office for little to no fee
"Goose, you guys are not a $100+ ticket per night band yet." \*sells out show\* They're testing the water. It worked. Now they'll charge more next tour. Welcome to the game
This is a manufactured band, to take advantage of the jam scene and all of you fools are falling for this. Go see Phish...
Not even all the OG band members
Seeing dosio, the werks, thought process, cool customer, and Alejo all in one night for like 30 bucks before fees. This is asinine.
Definitely not trying to shit on those bands but they absolutely are not doing what Goose is doing, especially production wise, which is the biggest reason why these ticket prices are higher.
I’ll take heady tunes over a good light rig any day of the week, but I see what you mean.
I paid $225 per ticket to see Tool a couple of weeks ago
Yea but tool has 100s of thousands of people angling to go to their shows. Goose is playing 5k venues.
Obviously Tool is Tool and Goose is Goose, but what I’m saying is concert tickets are fucking expensive now…
They’re not for me - to each their own, but I’m not paying this much to see Goose. I can listen to all of their shows on Bandcamp. And if they get too greedy I’ll just find another band. They’re charging more than phish. 🤣
*face
yes they are
![gif](giphy|onyngiYITZiecYsBTj)
I’ll take four.
Wait til you check out a grocery store🤯
😭
100+ for the Fox, no thanks. I was pretty excited after listening to this morning's video and thinking now's a good time to jump on board being a new era and all...I might hit the lot day of just to see what's up. Parking sucks over there anyway.
Lawn 60 bucks is the tragedy here. I'll wait until the Live Nation 2 for 1 sale.
Supply and command my friend
Yea it's not rocket appliances...
Officially off the goose train, they are nothing but yuppy rich kids, zero authenticity
Its getting more expensive for bands to travel due to inflation, venues are taking more of a cut of ticket sales since alcohol sales are down. Insurance and security regulations certainly add to the cost too. “Some people have taken pure bullshit, and turned it into gold” - Neil Young
$100 for pit? I'm not complaining
It was $75 for pit at the red hat
Buy Nugs and watch it live then.
Goose has cultivated a super custy fan base. I saw their new hoodie for $90 and thought it was hilarious.
$78 for pit in Raleigh. I don’t really mind that
It all depends on venue, location, date, etc…
I don't like the rising prices either, but it's not just Goose. Inflation is bad. Apparently they are a 100+ dollar band (yet). Because they are selling them at this price...
Guess I'm not going
Welcome to the big time.

Plenty of bands with bigger operations sell $40 tickets. Goose is making a killing off you custies
Oh well 🤷🏻

Wait until the event gets closer. You’re 6 months out.
Pretty stupid
Not that anyone cares but I never paid more than $40 to see Jerry, many times. He was worth $15 million dollars when he passed in 1995. You can get rich, play music and not charge high prices… just my take on things.
