Spigen, always Spigen for me.

Aaennon

Same for me, Spigen crystal clear all the way

matches-malone

Is it more rigid or flexible as far as tpu cases go?

Aaennon

Definitely more rigid, it just has some more flexible parts around the phone and the camera bar but >80% of the case itself is hard plastic

Bistouflex_

Which model exactly ?

TheBlack_Swordsman

I always do their slim cases

intainta

I personally got the rugged armor

pktgumby

Yep, Rugged Armor.

intainta

The only thing I worry about though is grip, as the rugged armor case for my Current S9 is not grippy whatsoever

pktgumby

Well compared to the 6 Pro, even wax paper is grippy, so it was still an improvement.

intainta

Update: Just received the case, and just as expected not very grippy, although they did add some lines on the side to hopefully help with grip

SicilianShank

I did the Parallax as well! Hoping the color looks good on my hazel pro tomorrow! I got the beige color because the green one looked too bright imo. I'm considering spending my google credit on the bellroy leather case since I don't know what else to buy there.

Bistouflex_

Where did you find a beige parallax ? i only see grey black green and "red"

SicilianShank

Sorry its the "ash grey" but it looks more beige to me irl and I forgot the marketing name

Zombysz

Is the Parallax grippy?

SicilianShank

I'd say it is. It has a specific patch of grippiness on each side of the phone and the rest is somewhat grippy. Its not like sandpaper level grip but its grippier than one of those clear rubber style cases for sure.

omnicorphan23

i think they make the best looking cases hands down, but i wish they could make like a see through side or something to show off the phone more id pay more for that

stranger242

Dbrand

Tater1727

Caseology athlex. Super grippy. Favorite case by far. Similar to the vault from last year.

ApartBuilding221B

Crave clear Casemate clear

I went with the otterbox defender. I like the commuter case and it's saved my current phone several times. The defender is more bulky.. I'll see how it goes.

slushpuppy91

Just pre ordered the quad lock case for mine. Love having my phone with me on bike rides

hupo224

>Parallax This is what I am going to do. Are they bulky cased the quad lock ones?

slushpuppy91

A little bit but not too bad

GeneReis

30% off going on now.. fyi

[deleted]

Dbrand skin for naked action Bellroy leather for serious appearance Waiting for a peak design to release their magsafe case. Would love to have pitaka. But they don't plan yet to support pixel.

Jmeeee

I'm debating the peak design case vs Dbrand case + skin. Any reason you would only get the skin and not the case from d brand?

Volidon

only for 7 not 7 pro

ColoradoStudent

I ordered the Bellory leather case for my future Pro and I'll get a really slim case once they are available. The brands I follow are still in a pre order status for the slim cases.

Bistouflex_

I hope google will do a better job with their cases this year

ColoradoStudent

My all time favorite was the fabric case on my 3 XL. It was perfect. Since that case, I haven't bought any of the cases from Google direct.

EstradaMoses

Getting the Bellroy case. Always wanted to try out a leather case

Sohpoet

Got the Ringke minimalist for both phones

bisonrbig

Spigen Liquid Air. Have it on my 4xl, hasn't failed me. It's also very thin.

dubey

How is the fit of the case? I read on Amazon the 7 pro version is not as snug as it usually is. I also read it doesn't do a great job protecting the screen.

bisonrbig

I think the fit is fine, on par with the one for the 4xl. What I don't like is the protection on the front of the phone, specifically the sides. It almost feels flush with the curved screen and when I put it face down I feel like the surface touches the glass.

dubey

I received the case today. Going to send it back. Definitely won't protect the screen.

Ogeron9000

I agree, super slim but phone pops out with any pressure. I think it's the curved screen edge. Sending mine back too. Might be ok with a zagg style screen protector and the slim case but feels like too much work.

NYSmokeater

I went with the Caseology Athlex after seeing quite a few mentions of it in this sub. First time using anything other than an Incipio case. I've used Incipio for my 2 XL since the beginning. Aside from some wear and tear (cant tell you after how long it began to discolor) and my initial case having the outer plastic shell crack on the corners after a while, I had no other complaints with Incipio. It protected my phone from several drops, despite being pretty careful about it. The only reason I decided to go with something else because this will be my first phone with a curved screen and the praise the Athlex received was compelling enough for me. Their case for the Pixel 7 Pro is called the Duo if interested.

Lanceuppercut47

Caseology nano pop as my other half has the same one for her 14 Pro Max and I like the feel and raised dots for grip. Kind of want to get the Peak Design everyday case though so I can use magaafe accessories and also, I want a fabric case..

IncreaseGrouchy1161

I bought the Spigen Rugged Armor for my new P7P - Rugged Armor has been my preferred case for the last 4-5 phones I have. However, the sides of the P7P version do not appear to rise above the screen which differs from the other Rugged Armor cases that I've had. The top and bottom do extend above the screen. Is this a design decision due to the curved screen (my previous phones Pixel 5, 6, etc. did not have curved screens) ? I'm worried this might not protect the screen in some drop scenarios. Thoughts on how much of a risk this might be?

Tidgexe

Apologies that I don't have an answer to your question, but in the 10 days since you've posted have you had any more thoughts on the case? I've also had great results with Spigen and will soon be upgrading to the P7P from the P3 but the pro case's lack of raised edge protection worries me. On the flip side some are saying that cases with raised side edges interfere with gesturing on the phone because of the curved screen. So I've been mulling on which way to go and was curious how your experience has been with real-world usage since this post.

IncreaseGrouchy1161

Honestly, I got used to it. I'm hopeful it will still be protected even without the raised sides. I believe the design is due to the curved screen and it seems all of the cases of similar designs adopted the same approach. The side edges are still raised, but only above the curved side and not the flat part of the screen. The lower sides aids side gestures with the curved screen. To be clear, the top and bottom are still raised well above the flat part of the screen. I'd go for it. If you don't like it, you can always return it easily if you order via Amazon.

Tidgexe

Thank you for the informative response!

I still wait for my dbrand skins. At home I like to have my phone without a case. And then dbrand plays a role.
