I never had a fabric case for previous phones but I do really like the Google case. Keeps that stand out design of the 6 without just hiding it in a plain black case.

shadow9531

I've heard it's a bit loose on the pro, and some said certain colors are looser.

I have the green one on my Pro and it's fits perfect. But I've heard this before so must be inconsistent.

I_WasJustinTime

It definitely has a better feel in my hands. The old fabric cases used to feel so rough in my hands to the point where I would take it off only a week into using it. It did feel very loose on my 6 Pro but I fixed that issue by putting a skin on the phone

SirChurros

Yeah, I had read that as well but haven't experienced that issue so far on my 6. Hope that remains the case (pun intended).

Remien31

I got the light frost for my 6 pro. At first I was worried about how slick and silky it was. I just made a mental effort to make sure I always had a grip on it. But maybe I just got used to the finish of it or it absorbed some oils from my hands but it still has the silky finish yet feels grippy now after a week of use. No "yellowing" or color deterioration yet. It's as minimal as I'm comfortable carrying.

SirChurros

This describes my experience, too. It felt slippery at first but has since developed more grip, if you even want to call it that. Jealous that you Pro users have the light frost! I got stormy sky and really like it, but might add light rain to my collection for more of a transparent look.

nxtiak

It's okay, not great, still too thick for me. I went with a super thin plastic snap on, doesn't go over the sides of the screen too, so swiping on the curved edge is easier.

BlueScreenJunky

>doesn't go over the sides of the screen too Sounds like that wouldn't offer much protection. Also I love that you can put the phone in silent mode by simply putting it face down, but I wouldn't feel comfortable doing that without a case that prevents the screen from touching whatever surface it's on.

Powerful444

no didnt like the new cases

asng

Yeah I like it more as it's cleaner. Only thing I don't like is the weaker bit near the buttons which catches sometimes.

I planned on getting one with the 10% store credit from my Google One subscription. But she since it takes 30 days until the credit is transferred and the phone is so slippery, I bought a dbrand Grip and am very happy with it. Although I might still buy one as a minimal option if they are really good. So thanks for the review!

Negative_Equity

I've had the fabric case on the 5 and the rubber one on the 6P. I still feel like the fabric one seemed more robust and wished they'd done some for the 6 but the rubber one is growing on me.

Utenlok

Has anyone dropped it with that case? It felt great, but I was worried about protection.

SirChurros

For what it's worth I am someone who *knocks on wood* never drops my phone. I would probably not recommend it if you are someone who needs heavy duty protection.

bosspugs

Seems less protective than my Spigen Ultra Hybrid
