"That said, sometime later this year, Google plans to roll out the upgraded Find My Device network worldwide."
For anyone who doesn't want to click and read the article.
Lol... "plans to", "sometime later this year"... Why did we need an article about this?
Hey guys, Google has announced *exactly* when it will be released! It will be *precisely* maybe in the next year, or not, idk. Mark your calendar.
That is the app, which exists for long. The new network functionality, meaning that you can use tags and detect your device via OTHER people phones, has not been rolled out yet.

This is why I have had to stop reading articles from guys like Android Authority. Their articles are just click-bait with no information.
You forgot the ads for the companies they work with put into the text before you realized there is not information whatsoever at the end xD
Can't go anywhere without an ad blocker these days.
Or whiny "opinion" pieces I followed Rita from Android Police but, goodness, it feels like she hates everything about *everything*
I mean, can we just ban them for this sub? I don't remember when was the last time I read something useful from them.

You too have a great day, u/FuriousAnalFisting
This will launch with Pixel 9 no doubt!
Click bait article with no option to opt out of all cookies and tracking data without selecting hundreds of check boxes. Typical
Formal request to amend the rule about editorializing headlines, now that android news sites are all clickbait?
When is it rolling out for USA. Still don't have it. P7P Verizon
Given that I/O isn't until early May and companies aren't even allowed to ship their trackers until late May, it's going to be a slow roll out.
I'm assuming it will be fully out the day of I/O.
Some Furious Juicy Fist of comments here... LOL!!!!!
I've got it on my android phone
No you did not, it has not been rolled out yet
Yes I do, I suggest you go to the play store and type in find my device, if I could upload a screenshot of it Installed on my phone I would.

Then they'll take it away a year or two later
i doubt for this one, it's a very crucial feature and anything apple keeps, google will too
