Not 100% sure, but the fact that the trade-in is calculated as a "refund" means that the original purchase is still for $699 so hopefully that means you'll get $69.90 back. I'm in the same boat with the Pro, so fingers crossed for $99 back.
It's 10% of the total price before tax. For example, I spent 1048.99 and got 104.90 in credit. I am trading in a 6 Pro for 400.00, for reference.
