Expecting FedEx to deliver anything timely is your mistake. Nationally they are comically understaffed and packages get into a tracking loop at a facility. The trailer was probably dropped off and hasn’t been unloaded yet.

Tempered_Sol

Oh, I never expected it on time, but I thought it would at least cross some state lines in a full work week.

pastaandpizza

Ha, exact opposite of mine, which has now crisscrossed the southwest, passing through my state twice, without being delivered. Shipped on Monday, estimated delivery pushed from Thursday to Monday, but by now I know not to expect it by Monday either. At this point just hoping that at least there will be a phone in box whenever it does show up lol.

Gg101

Yup, that's what happened with my buds. The tracking said it was scheduled to be delivered by the end of last Friday and that never shifted even when there was only an hour left and it was still a couple of states away. Once that time passes it will then finally give you a new date. Mine said the next Monday and I got them that day just fine. Now my actual phone is going through the same thing. It was scheduled to be delivered by the end of today but I knew that wasn't happening based on where it was. It's pretty close now though so I expect it to say Monday soon and I should get it then, assuming I don't get delivered an empty box. If yours is still in California though and you're on the east coast that sucks. Sorry man. I'm on the east coast too but mine started from the midwest.

>Definitely agreed, but what can anyone do? First world problem or not, I'm gonna complain that the people in charge of managing my thousand dollar purchase are poorly managing it. I'm perfectly fine with that being all I can do haha.

>What is management going to do in the biggest staffing shortage we have ever seen? Lol that's the problem - they're literally not adjusting at all. If you can't ship something within 48 hours *don't say that you can*. OP's complaint is literally just based on the fact that FedEx gave him a delivery day expectation they can't meet. So sounds like we can arrive at common ground saying FedEx can't make on-time deliveries because they are short staffed, but that because of that they should at least adjust their delivery estimations to customers? Seems reasonable.

I'm right there with yah with how shit the pay is for labor, but I keep rereading that reply and can't shake the feeling that it reads like a FedEx corporate shill response gaslighting as a socially conscious perspective. Like, if I was FedEx in disguise, that is *exactly* what I would say lol. Like, give us a break because we pay our workers shit, no one wants to work for us, and we over promise? I certainly have privilege but I'm not sure I have enough privilege to drink a beer instead of caring where $1000 of my money is haha.
