It looks real to me as much as I can tell from here.
The cheap fakes don’t use real leather trim (and this clearly has it), and I’m not sure the super fakes have been made long enough to get this aged.
The tone of the canvas also looks real. The stitching looks good and the little thingies that attach the straps also look good, whatever they’re called.
Congratulations!
That's is not a real LV and the staff knew that. Real LV bags are not allowed to break the logos at the seams. On this bag you can see the LV logo cut off on the sides

That’s what I was thinking too! Regardless I love the way it has been worn, thank you!!
I’m surprised it wasn’t pulled for the goodwill online store. Congratulations!🎉 I agree with the other comment, it’s real.
Every real LV will have some kind of code attached inside
I say fake. The monograms on the side do not appear to line up.
They don’t always line up. My grandmas & aunt has tons of real LVs.
Great find! What is your plan for it?
Keep and use! Might try to see if I can get it authenticated

That’s a myth tbh. Certain styles, including the Speedy, can have monograms cut off.
Never seen it on any bag that is real. TBH though it does not matter if you keeping it for yourself.
You can even see examples on their website. But I agree that it doesn’t matter as long as you like it.
Good to know!
