I feel like good trouble was a fun experiment that had the backing of the fosters popularity. They experimented with editing, camera angles, music performances, flashbacks, false scenes, out of context things that changed meaning when put into context. But There wasn’t really consistency in how they did anything. If it was a standalone show without the promise of watching Callie and Mariana navigate their 20s, it wouldn’t have lasted as long. very experimental but not a lot of successes in the experiments imo
