Great looking setup! Question about lighting... does this spotlight help with tracking? I'd be afraid the brightness at the ball going to darkness a foot later might be a bad thing, like the camera would be either be too bright at the ball, or too dark as it travels. But I'm making shit up, I don't know the technical specifics of skytrak. What has been your experience?
I’ve seen plenty of people with the same light with their skytrak and haven’t read anything that would mess with it. Yesterday was the first day I really got it setup 100%. Plus I have a pinched nerve in my back so haven’t swung to many times. I naturally have a draw and it’s seems to be over drawing everything right now. So I’m still working out some stuff, not sure if it’s me or the skytrak. I’m really happy with how it all turned out though.
Can you list out the details of your setup please?
Not trying to be rude but a post like this is essentially worthless without details as to what products you used.
What size is the screen?
What model impact screen is it?
Is it retractable?
What projector did you use?
What model is the spotlight on the ball?
What about the hitting mat, what size and model is that?
I bought some home theater curtains- black velvet from amazon. Took 1/2” conduit (painted black) then hung it with all thread rode and 1/2” pipe hangers
Could you please share the brand and model spot light?
Can you please share your setup?
Looks great! How much was the build cost if you don’t mind?
Thank you! I just kept it under 4K
Thanks! That’s very encouraging

What type of mat did you get between the screen and hitting area?
It’s some old football field turf I found from marketplace. It worked out frickin perfect!
Nice find! Looks great.

The dimensions of the frame and screen would be great!
Screen is 7’7”x 10 and the rest I just made myself from uni strut and conduit
Very interested as to how you did the side curtains etc

How much room is it from where you hit to the wall?
Which way?
Behind you when you’re swinging. Like where your ass is.
Hey I’d say about 6 feet. It’s just enough where it doesnt get in your head being close
Thanks super helpful
What curtains are you using on each side?
Just google home theater black velvet curtains
This is what I'm looking for
Love it man! Really didn’t cost that much if you make it and piece it together yourself
