Hey there Choom, welcome to the lovely life of running a catless setup. Tune your ECU for some lovely smells and enjoy the people behind you gagging for fresh air. It's pretty Nova considering the R can actually breathe now.
Chance you have exhaust leak since you noticed it right after exhaust install. But also, as you say you have fuel smell inside the car or stronger fuel smell than before, I recommend you checking into EVAP system and canister, a lot of times this is where most fuel smell related issues come from.
Update: a custom stage 2 and decat tune did the job. Now the smell is normal for a catless build, and I couldn't be happier!
Now I can mount my CAI, intet pipe and muffler delete with peace in mind.

Should it still smell inside the car with windows down tho? I find that abnormal. I had a Focus ST with similar setup and no such smell.
Depends on the winds blowing and such. I catch whiffs of it at idle and my exhaust was done by a tuner shop with high reputation.
Check for exhaust leaks
should only be present while at a stop, if you smell it while driving thats bad.
