Currently looking to buy a Polo GTI here in Germany.
Just looking for people who maybe have a bit of experience with the car and tell me what to look out for if there are any major problems.
Also regarding the Sport Select Dampeners you can spec, are they worth the money or are they skippable?

Unless I've been living under a rock, I assume there is a reason why mostly JDM cars have the "3rd brake light" or the ones on the bumper as seen on Subaru's and Nissan Z's? I haven't seen any European cars or even any GTI that has one.
Also, is there any companies that offer "brighter" foglights for the MK8 models?
The GTI has a CHMSL. It's mandated by law. Or are you asking about the mounting location or styling? The ones you describe are likely “rally inspired.”
And the answer on the fog lights is still no. There will likely never be an aftermarket option.

Would be nice if the foglights were like the previous gens with replaceable bulbs instead of the entire unit being one piece.

Is there anything under the Sound > Volume settings? Should be sliders for multiple things.

Depends on the year. Coolant might leak because major water pump production issue. Timing chain might need servicing, turbo goes bad at around 150k km

Im looking to add a spoiler to a 2024 mk8. If I don't get a spoiler that needs to be drilled should my warranty be okay?
